raggedy_andy i'd have to put Wes in the underdog category because this is his 2nd challenge and The Duel is the 4th challenge for Brad. Hence, Wes (to me, if facts aren't reason enough for you) is an underdog.

During the entire time CT was crying about his loss I wondered why he didn't mind when it happened to Beth. It's a dumb rule, but a rule nonetheless. I was terribly dissapointed in Brad, I thought he would at least put some fight in the duel, CT completly demolished him in, what appeared to be, 2 seconds.

Regardless once I saw that CT ripped the flag off, I was happy. CT is way too cocky, even more so then Wes. He is always projecting this image of being a badass/thug. Ever since he beat the shit out of that random french dude in Paris (who I will always remember as never fighting back), CT has intimidated others and he uses it to his advantage.

I have to give props to Wes; he's dumb, yet makes it to his second final. Brad is definitely the underdog, even though he has been on challenges before this is the furthest he has ever gotten. Wes on the other hand has proven himself to be a great competitor.

I'll also fess up to my love for Jodi, she has been dominating and I think she's cute, although she reminds me of Hillary swank, which isn't hot. Svetty is a cutie too and she seems like a very genuine normal person, but she won through the DQ of Beth.

So I predict Wes and Jodi will win. Although I do think Svetty will be tougher competition for Jodi than Brad will be to Wes.

CT, but of course we'll change the rules for YOU! Who cares that one person was already DQ'd for doing the same thing. MTV would love to give Beth a really good reason to file a lawsuit.

I luuurrrved the Wes/CT scuffle. Douchebaggery reached a new height during that fight and I am glad I got to witness it!

I have been pretty impressed by Svet's performance in this whole show; she did pretty well for a true rookie. Sure, she lucked out with Bethzilla's DQ, but up to that point she had done well anyway. She probably won't beat Jodi, but that's just because she doesn't have as much testosterone coursing through her veins.

as far as who i'd like to see win, it has to be wes and svetty. wes b/c he is the most athletic guy left. and if he'd had a better partner in fresh meat, he might have won the last challenge. i like svetty b/c she's actually proven herself. someone made the comment that she's just gotten lucky (what with the beth dq and all). i must disagree. jodi has been the lucky one. her ass hasn't been in a duel yet. svetty has earned her spot (and a win) b/c of winning the 4 duels she was forced into. period- end of story.

Um, that is part of the difficulty of the challenge that you not only make it to the flag but you also unhook it rather than just pulling. CT is a meathead idiot and I was glad to see him go.

#15 Jersey Girl, I completely disagree with your comments about Svetty "lucking" her way through the competition. We all agree that she benefited from Beth's DQ, yes, but she also participated in TWO OTHER DUELS (vs. Kina and Aneesa.)

How many duels did Jodi participate in? Zero! And, from previous challenges and Road Rules, we all know about Jodi's penchant for letting pressure get to her and her spazzing out!

I'm hoping that will happen again and Svetty takes it to the top.

I think it will definitely be a disappointment for Jodi to win The Duel and never had to participate in one throughout the show's run.

For some reason I was realy attracted to JT when he was telling CT to chill out. Kinda reminded me of my darling Jack on Lost.

My votes:
BRAD for the men. I have loved Brad since he yelled "I'm locked up, bitch!" in his season and it's saddened me to see him get the shaft in every challenge especially since he seems to play well/fair.

For the women, by default I want Svetty to win. I agree with previous posters that she's earned her place in winning Duels. Jodi is strong but she is completely unstable and has just kind of coasted through this challenge by flying under the radar.

For those still crying about the Beth DQ, as cincy_josh (#19) has already said, it's part of the Duel. Push Me would be too easy for the bigger people if you could just rip the flag. It's not impossible; Svetlana did it against Kina.

MTVwhoreInTX (#12), if that's your reasoning it'd be more apt to call him a rookie (and Brad would be a veteran, like in the Gauntlet II), instead of an underdog.

I have not seen the Douche Bag's comments, but here is my educated (if you can call it that) guess:

Svetlana has already been on an after show.. so that makes me think it is Jodi that will win. BOO.. she's a man, baby!

Well, before I read the comments, I would like to say that this was a good episode(other than the girl duel)I enjoyed wes and ct arguing. I thought the same thing about jodi. she didn't do much work and that's why she won. she still had lots of energy. but then again she's been kicking ass in the challenges and i think she kinda deserves to win if she is putinig her all in them. obviously the other girls aren't trying hard enough if they are not winning immunity. oh, i forgot to say. it was sad seeing Aneesa and Svet go against each other. But it was cool how Svet gave her sidekick to Aneesa and TJ gave her his jacket. That was a good ending. It's nice they stayed close friends throughout this game. It seemed Aneesa acted a lot more normal with a friend by her side.
And I don't think it was wrong for Svet to pick 'I can'. She had the choice to pick whatever she wanted. She wants to win this game regardless that Aneesa is her close friend there. I don't think Aneesa was pissed she did that. She would've done the same thing. Pick the one you think you can win at. That's the whole point of this game, right?

I still can't get over TJ's body language when CT was going crazy (which was totally wicked to watch). If you compare it to the Gauntlet 2 when Syrus was angry - it was radically different. TJ wasn't afraid to get in Syrus' face but he sure kept his distance from CT. I think he was definitely scared CT would make him a human meatball.

It would've been a great final match if CT didn't DQ and had to go against Wes. If CT managed not to screw up AGAIN I think he'd definitely beat Wes.

And we all know god fearing, double fisting Jodi will win. Grrrr.....

I don't think Svetlana coasted through the challenge, but she obviously wouldn't have competed in the other two duels if she hadn't won the first one because of the DQ. As mo_knows pointed, Jodi hasn't been in the Duel, at least partly, because she's won immunity a lot whereas Svetlana has has mostly gone into the Duel because she was the last one left standing and got to choose her opponent.

I would have prefered Aneesa to win, but I knew she would rather go out trying to lift than to win by letting Svetty lose.
