This past week, Theo Von appeared not only on the season premiere of the Real World / Road Rules Challenge : Fresh Meat, but 22 hours later graced the season premiere of Last Comic Standing on NBC. I know! Theo twice a week!! SHINY!
But if you're like me and that's simply an insufficient amount of Theoness and you don't have any hobbits on steroids nearby to fill the void, you can take a quick trip over to his website, The Reality Spot, for anytime access to not just Theo... but Timmy too!! Oh for joy!! It's like a Reeses Pieces of the entertainment taint. Finally Theo Von and Timmy The Old Guy in one place!
If only there was a way to access them if my cable or internet went down. Now we can with their new DVD, THE EVEN COUPLE Vol. 1. It's like The Odd Couple's clever play on words, only unraveled and unclever... so clever of them to be the anti humor of comedy. No other comedians are doing that! So Fresh! And what's better, this is Volume 1! Rumor has it, there was so much goodness on the DVD, they had to split it into multiple volumes to keep the potency of goodness down to a manageable amount. Kinda like Kill Bill.
The DVD includes:
1.Theo 'n Tim hosting a 'Cartwheel Competition' for homeless people
2. Dressing as devils, and performing 'Go to Hellagrams', the total opposite of singing telegrams
3. Theo does a 10 min. stand up comedy set at a Los Angeles comedy club
4. Timmy invades a mall and gets people to sing about Attention Deficit Disorder (Hilarious!!)
5. RW/RR Photo Slideshow

My pick for the must have Christmas item for 2006....for people you absolutely hate.

Don't we have laws about this sort of thing? You know, to protect the innocent? It should at least come with a warning label!

So, when Theo said that doing the RW/RR challenges was his job, that comment was just a display of his wit and comic timing? Making lame jokes like that is, in fact, his real job?
You should probably just stick to the challenges, Theo. Never thought I'd say it, but your first job was a lot less sad.
