Eric is in last place (shocker), with Landon and Evan at the top (shocker).
Dunar crosses the finish line to tag Paula, but instead crashes into her and they both fall down. Awesome!
The girls are running up the hill, and Diem the DQ Queen is trying to pass Ruthie. is the first one to her kart thingee, and Evan is shouting lots of stuff at her. PLEASE find a way to get DQ'ed, Diem!
The other teams catch up and just about everyone is trying to put their puzzle together, with the exception of Big Easy, who is STILL trying to make it up that damn hill. Producers, it's just getting mean to have him on the show.
The puzzle is a bunch of L's that they have to put together to make the Duel design. Snooze. It is a little amusing that they can't fit side-by-side in their puzzle booth with the bobble heads on.
Not-Rob is watching them work, prolly trying to find a marijuana leaf somewhere in the puzzle design.
Landon and Brit end up winning, and Katie and Easy never even got to touch the puzzle. Evan is of course pouting and crying because he didn't win. Dial it down a notch dude, damn.
It's time for Landon and Britini to decide who to save, and this part is always weird for me. Landon and Britini "deliberate" and chose to save Rachel, but its not like they are really doing her any favors she can still get called into the duel. If someone can explain to me why the order matters, then please do.
Jenn is complaining about her arm/shoulder hurting and is already crying about leaving. Paula is worried that Jenn's head is back home already and I think it is, too. God, I'm agreeing with Paula again.
Jenn goes to see the doctor and drives away in a really crappy car. Even Adam and CT were escorted away in something nicer.
Back from the doctor, Jenn almost gleefully tells Derek about her sprained shoulder. She's trying to decide what to do, but I think we all know she's going to see if Rachel wants her, and if so, she'll stay
Jenn talks to Neh, who is busy making a shrine (he got into Not-Rob's stash) and cutting out something that looks suspiciosly like a skater s that I used to draw in middle school.
Side note: is Jenn pretty, or is she a full on Monet? It's tough tell sometimes, but I'm leaning towards pretty, if she would take those god-awful headbands off.

After her convo with Neh, Jenn decides to be tough and fight through the pain. She's taking a page from Diem's "I am woman, hear me roar!" book.
Dunbar, Landon and Evan are outside complaining about Neh. Apparantly, he posts a new quote of the day each day and its starting to annoy peeps. Landon feels like today's quote is passively-aggressively targeting him. I want to know why you are hanging out with these two bozos Lando!
Rachel, Brit and Tori are the top girls to get saved first. Katie is talking about knocking these girls off their pedastools. Evil Katie is coming out and I like it! But, Brit has kinda proved herself, and Tori, I like you hon, but you haven't exactly been a fierce competitor.
It's time for the save ceremony. Not-Rob goes through the typical spiel, Landon and Britini get to pick who they want to save first, then they alternate until there are two left who can compete in the duel against anyone but Landon and Britini.
Here's how it goes down: Rachel picks Old Man Mark, who wheezes out that he picks Tori, who of course picks Brad, who acts really surprised then picks Diem, who picks big stupid head Evan, who picks scary Aneesa, who picks the boy with the dumb hair MJ, who picks Kimberly, who thanks the lord that she's not in Blackville and picks Derrek, who picks Katie, who picks a still-tired-from-all-that-running Big Easy, who picks Ruthie, who picks my homeboy Issac, who for the love of god I'll never understand why picks Paula, who of course picks Dunbar, leaving Jenn and Neh to go to the DUEL.
It's time for them to decide who they want to go against, and I'm momentarily worried that Neh will pick Isaac. There's alot of big guys left. But of course, we cut to a commercial, and luckily no commercials with Evan dressed as a swinger from the 40s.

hey-- Lay Off Evan!!!!--
And Nehamiah probably DID call Evan into the duel because he knew he would still be tired from the last duel. The wierdo! I always knew he was a few fries short of a happy meal when he hooked up with that old girl-- what's her name?? The one that nobody can stand.....the one that wears bright blue eye shadow.....
And yeah!! Jenn called Katie into the duel because she's small and Jenn thought Katie was the only one she could beat. We all know it Jenn!! Own it!!!

LisaMay: you're thinking of Beth. She's gross. Moving on...
1) I enjoyed the creepy but fun beastiality remarks about Evan and the sheep. What was that all about anyway?
2) Who is Jen? And is she a lesbian (well, duh I guess) or like bi?
3) The Mark joke with the moonshine and such killed me.
and finally 4) (sorry for the long ass post)
ROB DYRDEK + MEATY+ LOSERS COMPETING OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR MONEY=BEST.SHOW. EVER.

Favorite line "MJs hair is extra whack today-like Carrot Top and Sideshow Bob had a freaky blonde love child." Awesome. Thanks for the great recap. And Landon is looking cuter and cuter. I totally thought of the Miami season where Flora broke the window slat and creepy little Joe had that amazon girlfriend.

Agree w/you on Evan - 100%!
I kept thinking to myself, remember during one of the duel/gauntlet challenges when the coward guys put Ryan in the duel like 8 times in a row - and Evanna is crying like a girl that he gets put in twice?? F that - I hope they pick him again next week! Ass
Ya know, why do the guys NEVER pick BigEasy? Yes, I know you all will tell me it's because of his size, but frankly he has ZERO athletic ability and we all remember what happened last time he made it to the finals (ambulance ride, anyone?) The only duel he would even have an advantage on is the one Jen and Katie did, but he is so uncoordinated, he'd probably be pretty easy to beat anyway! (I like Eric, but c'mon - )
Long Live RR/RW Challenges!! WooHoo

I really despise stupid fresh meat Evan. Why the sense of entitlement? Also, he already used that "sending home in an ambulance" phrase at least once. I suppose it was in one of his textbooks for RealityDouche University.
Who is Brit and why is she suddenly one of the first girls to get picked?
I find these newer kids indistinguishable with the exception of Isaac, who's cute, funny and has tons of personality (but no screen time, natch.)

Awesome recap PopPrincess! There were so many laugh out loud moments! Evan is seriously ridunk. And I couldn't stand Diem after they lost. She was like..."it's so not fair since we totally had the lead into the puzzle!" Yes, it's not fair how races work, that if you don't win all parts of the race, you lose. These people are so ridiculous, but the fact that they get paid for this makes me want to reevaluate my life.
Also, I do agree with you about Buster being the new host. Although...he's had his fair share of the green too if you remember correctly. :)

lisamay,i don't think that it mattered that evan had been in the last duel. last week, davis mentioned that nehemiah would have chosen evan if he had been the last picked. no doubt that nehemiah would have picked evan regardless of whether or not evan had won the last duel.
evan annoys me greatly. i think it would be great if he finally got a physical duel next week...then lost.

I actually don't think it's in their favor to choose big easy to go into the duel (or whatever it is this season) this time around. Last time they were competing in a team, but this time it is all individual so it would be better to be going up againt him in the end bc he will suck!

How is Neh "gutless" for picking Evan? He's a big guy and obviously good at challenges. I don't think 1 duel every few days would wear you out completely.
And just something stupid and nit-picky: In the elevator challenge, the goal is to raise your opponent to the top first, not yourself.

Not so much a pimp walk for Neh, but more so like George Jefferson.
I'm on the Evan hate train also. He is a douche bag who has become even more douchier over time.

The reason Isaac picked Paula's dumb ass was so she could pick Dunbar. Isaac and Dunbar were roomies in Australia. And Paula swears she's going to get Dunbar's "funbar" so who knows. Yuck.
Let's just hope protection is used if not the poor kid is gonna look like a stepped on piece of putty...with about the same personality .
I never thought anyhting of Evan either way but he is really working on my nerves. Why is he the Godfather? Cause everyone wants to off him? Cause the people who smile in your face are the same ones who will stab you in the spine bone? Idiot!

Ok, Evan is now my official worst challenger ever.
I was happy that Landon won again and Brittini is cool.
I was so pissed that Nehemiah lost to EVAN the queer. I was hoping so bad Evan would win.
I completely agree with your views on Evan, he is a disaster and a LOSER!
I was also mad Katie went home, I liked her. Jenn won't last long though, she will probably be called out next Duel and lose.
The Jenn and Rachel sex scene was sexy and Mark is awesome still! GO MARK!
I can't wait for next episode, hopefully Evan will go home.

Slutty_whore: LOLOLOLOL on George Jefferson!! Right on!!!!!!
Every year the same people that are on here, the sadder I feel for them. Have they no pride or should I say, no job skills?
And Paula is so pathetic. Women like her really do seek out abusers again and again. HOW did Dunbar get picked to go on either show, really? He is the ugliest thing ever, a dick, and definitely a wife-beater in the making. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. YUCK.
All hail Isaac!!

I dont get all the hate for Evan. He really doesn't bother me all that much. I can't stand Big Easy. I think he is a total douche.
I totally thought of George Jefferson, too, when Nehemiah was walking away like that. And speaking of Nehemiah, when did he go crazy?
I loved that you commented on the crappy car that Jen drove away in. That was a total P.O.S. I actually giggled when I saw it.

I'm indifferent toward Evan but I was really glad Nehamiah got sent home. I agree with Lola1971 on girls like Paula really seeking out abusive people like Dunbar. After what happened with her the last time you'd figure she'd have learned to not trust guys like Dunbar. I'm not sure what his appeal would be to anyone seeing as he's not cute and the whole girlfriend cheating thing. Also I kind of don't get why anyone would like Big Easy though either. I think he kinda sucks at most of these challenges and his size doesn't seem to help him really. I think I've kind of disliked him though since that challenge where he was arguing that he would never fall and how he had a lot of heart or whatever and then ended up costing his team the victory. I'm not blaming him but I just don't quite get how he's a threat or likeable.

Don't like Neh but at least he didn't punk out and not pick evan like he said that he was going to.
I am gettin greally sick of Evan going around like he is holyer than tho each time he is picked. Get over your self.
Cant wait for him to get ousted. I think that every guy going in from here on out should pick him just so we can hear him cry! PUSSY!
\I do like how the show is punking his ass and making him look like a bitch...the whole segment with the sheep was priceless. What a friggin douch nozzle.
I must admit though I do love this show. One of my guilty pleasures. And it is even better now because everytime I watch I think of TJ hittin his 4 foot bong and I just laugh my ass off.

yeah, the line about mark in the 1920's hauling moonshine... i laughed for a good two minutes straight. isaac is definitely the best person on this show, he's funny and doesn't take himself too seriously like evan and most of the bags of douche on this show. rachel and jenn both suck. who gives a fuck about their psuedo-lesbian relationship? this show is such a guilty pleasure. can't wait for next week! great job on the recaps!
17 of 20 | Posted by jennylovesflowie623 | Posted on May 10, 2009 9:25 PM
Love the recap PopPrincess. I will echo what's already been said by several others- the reference to Mark running moonshine in the 20's was pure genius. Evan is the biggest douchebag on the show. The producers clearly know that, and are giving him extended facetime as a result. He's a nobody from Canada, period. I'm sure his attitude would be better if he didn't miss his boyfriend Kenny so much. Paula is a trainwreck as usual, Dunbar is a walking domestic violence conviction waiting to happen, and Kim couldn't be more annoying if she tried.
On a more positive note, I would absolutely love to fuck Katie in half . . . is that wrong?
