I haven't seen this episode due to cable problems. But I have to say (I'm sure you hear this often B-side) But I love you. I have laughed non-stop throughout this recap. That being said.

OK. This show proved 2 things I've said before. 1)My prediction of Jen and Alex getting back together (even if it's a temporary sex romp), I did predict that they were gonna fondle each other oagain later this season.

2) Brooke is the normal one. I was the outcast when I said this. Everyone said I was defending a loon. I said, she is a loon, but compared to jen and colie, she is the better of the two. This episode proved it. What a bitch those 2 girls are, picking a fight with a girl, just because they're jealous. They both know Brooke is the hot one in the show, and it was only a matter of time that the 2 sluts showed their true colors. What the hell did Brooke do? Sure she's a little stuck up, and whiny, but I never seen her disrespect any of the housemates. Brooke is a whiny brat, but in no way she's the things jen and colie said she is. I don't even have to express my opinions on Jen and Colie. You all know how I feel about them!!! I freaking HATE COLIE, even more so than Jen...

Seriously, sometimes I think the producers paid colie and Jen to act that way. How can a normal human beings act like that?

Brooke is so awesome!! Paula Walnuts cannot compare! Before this ep. I was on the border about Brooke, because she's 100% entertainment, but 200% irrational nutjob. Watching her blow up on those two skanks Jenn and Colie was great!

Colie is completely delusional! Oh, and Alex is the shit! I love how he completely fucks with Colie's mind! And Jenn is such a trashy whore! Yes, Jenn is trashy and Colie is a possessive drunk (and she was especially annoying straddling Alex while his friends were right behind them). BUT Brooke is A1 psycho sauce. Whatever meds she was on during the show were clearly not working for her. I hope her doctors gave her new ones to help her cope. Although I loved the way Brooke exaggerated the entire Colie-macaroni and cheese-pot confrontation. No wonder she freaks out if she sees everything from a completely warped angle.

mangos- when i was 22, i started drinking at 1 pm sometimes. football games, friends in from out of town, some other sort of event. it's not that unusual for people who are still in the college mindset to drink early in the day on a weekend.
and colie's comment about being drunk not being an excuse for jenn making out with alex- oh, it totally is. i got so drunk one time in college that when i finally came out of my black out, i was in the middle of a dance floor, making out with a guy i would have never kissed had i been sober. in my favor, i was 19 and i've never been that drunk since. but it DOES happen. and jenn seems to be a little bit of an alcoholic.

I thought Brooke was right on the money, I was just surprised that it took her so long.

E. Colie and Jenn are obnoxious, clique-ish, irritating and dumb. They have consistently iced Brooke out, and gone out of their way to make her feel like the "odd girl out". 1) Brooke clearly overacted to the brat comment from Jen. I mean seriously...when was being called a brat when you're over the age of 12 insulting. Some people use it as a term of endearment.

2) I cannot understand how ANYONE deals with Colie. Alex's penis is even aware of the danger that lies beneath the surface. I'd actually like to watch her in a challenge show, just to see how many men she can attach herself to during a given season. She absolutely astounds and disgusts me.

3) Alex was downright rude to his guest while kissing Jen at the bar. He looked completely uncomfortable sitting next to the spectacle of Jen and Alex making-out (MID AFTERNOON IN A BAR).

This cast is completely reprehensible. They're oversexed, devoid of any manners or feelings, drink too much and slur out too many life "philosophies".

It took a REAL woman to put this real world on the map finally. From the beginning of this season I could not understand why producers chose Colie. I was like why cant MTV have at least one person on this show who isn't a harcore alcoholic/addict/slut?

Brooke really did MTV a great service by putting those 2 moron "females" in their places. Brooke, I thought the outward bound episodes showed her in a bad light; she obviously was conniving to get out of it. I really think it must be easier to climb a mountain than to live in a real world fishbowl with such obnoxious and toxic drama queens!

Yes, Colie's a pathetic mess, but Brooke's response was not proportionate to either the macaroni incident, or the "brat" incident. Is it that horrible of an insult? Okay Colie's question definitely didn't warrant such a bitchy response from Brooke, but honestly.. I'm sure it was a long time coming. Whenever my roommates would try to tell me to clean up, I would definitely think Brooke-like thoughts in my head because I knew that I had cleaned up after them several times before.

Her going off on Jenn was a bit outrageous, but, I'm sure she just doesn't care about Jenn. Why should she respect Jenn when the girl doesn't even show any ounce of self-respect? Stephen is just dead weight. He does nothing in any situation, offers no intellectual or well-thought out insight, and pretty much stays out of all of the drama (even the drama he creates himself). He's going to make a great father!!

I was going to avoid commenting, but one thing stuck out in the responses that made me change my mind. First, Colie and Jenn are both bat shit insane. I don't know what hole those two crawled out of, but they've got serious issues. Colie is clingy to the extreme and Jenn even screws over people that she refers to as friends. Both are frighteningly self destructive.

Now, the point that made me throw my two cents in is the myth that Brooke is a "strong" woman. I will say that she has pride or self esteem in that she was willing to stand up to perceived aggression, but that's as far as it goes. When using the word strength to describe a person, you're generally refering to either physical strength of strength of character. Since we don't see Brooke lifting buses and using Stephen's head for an arm rest, I'll assume everyone is saying she has strength of character...that's not really evident. Someone who has strength of character is someone who will follow through on a commitment in spite of obstacles (in Brooke's case, herself). Brooke's horrible work ethic shows that her character is not terribly strong. While Jenn and Colie are complete whack jobs, even a broken clock is right twice a day, Brooke is a little princess and has issues with doing work she sees as beneath her. That's a character flaw, not a strength.

You're wrong about whole brooke and Jen argument. Did you watch that scene closely? Jen not only started the fight by embarassing Brooke in front of others by calling her a brat for no reason what so ever (all Brooke did was say no when Jen asked if she drives a stick.), but she also called her a trashy whore, then said she doesnt give a f*** about her. This is comming from a person who Brooke thought was her friend and who gave her words of advice in the past episode. Brooke's actions were totally justified, and I think she is a strong person for acting like she did.

Think of it this way: If you can be drunk enough to get on the freeway going in the wrong direction, and not even realize it's happening, I think you can be drunk enough to hook up with a random guy, or even a guy you claim to despise or whatever. But being drunk SHOULDN'T be an excuse, because people should know their limits, especially if they've been drinking for as long as Jenn apparently has (even if she does have a problem).

This episode was supremely entertaining. Team Brooke all the way! Jenn and especially Colie are AWFUL. Colie is the worst person EVER. How anyone (especially this string of random guys) can tolerate her is absolutely appalling. I felt bad for Brett, having to put up with her drunken tirade, yet he was awesome in the way he handled it. Colie has serious issues, and they should force her to a shrink like they did Paula Walnuts.

I'm conflicted about Alex, because he does seem to run to Colie sometimes, but he has pretty much professed that he is NOT interested in her. Of course, this is overload to Colie's needy brain and she can't even begin to process it. GOD, Colie sucks.

Since we are calling into question the "character" of a character on a reality show, let's also not forget that Brooke refusing to climb the mountain has little to do with "work ethic". This is the Real World; it's not like her employers can sue her in court for breach of contract! like I said, I dont blame her for conniving to get out of the rock climbing venture. those are the kind of experiences where you want to be surrounded by good people, and the fact that davis, stephen, and tyree also all backed out somehow points to the fact that what Brooke did wasn't so weak. If there was something I wasnt so keen on doing (like rock-climbing), it certainly wouldnt make it more appealing to know I'd be dependent on the support of the crackhead harpies and their in the closet sex slave.

This episode was entertaining.....yet very confusing. It jumped around alot. All the scenes looked severely edited and thrown together to make a quasi-real story but I felt the producers left a lot of shit out that could have possibly avoided all KINDS of viewer confusion! For example, when Alex's friend told Colie Alex probably wasn't that into her, I was thinking "WTF? Where is that coming from? MTV must have taped THAT conversation between Alex and his friend"...but yet they didn't show it.

Anyway...Brooke/Colie fight was...well, it could have went either way in my book. Colie put the "ass" in "passive agressive" by lecturing Brooke on her macaroni, and it seemed (again, according to the editing) that she was singling Brooke out, but instead of getting bossy towards Brooke she should have said "I am doing everyone's dishes this time, but FYI next time please don't leave a pot of dried out macaroni on the counter for 3 days". But, were talking about REAL WORLDERS here....yeah, that's gonna happen!

I feel like I am in the minority here, but I think Brooke totally over-reacted to both Colie and Jen in this ep. I AM NOT defending Colie or Jen by any means, but I think Brooke has some screws loose that prevent her from rationaly processing/handling any kind of confrontation or people telling (or even suggesting) what she needs to do. In the Jen situation, I could have sworn I heard a tinge of "Even if I DID know how to drive a stick shift, there is no way that I would actually DRIVE ya'll around" in Brooke's "No" answer...she sounded a tad bratty to me. But in no way should Jenn have called her a whore...she's the only one IN THE HOUSE who hasn't hooked up (Davis doesnt count)

Speaking of WHORES, it's nice to see Jenn and Alex back in full-effect...this time in public...in the daytime! Although I do think it was funny that they were totally mocking Colie and Corey's disgusting PDA, it was pretty trashy. As a matter of fact, I think Colie's trashy for making out with Alex, then making out with Corey to get back at Alex for making out with that other chick...then Jenn making out with Alex to help Alex get back at Colie being hypocrytcial towards him since he was making out with that other chick.....WHEW I feel like I need an STD test just from TYPING that last sentence. EWWWWW these people are gross!

WOW, what an episode, Brooke is my mathafuckin' hero. She's my superman-woman-whatever. Annie, dawg, I have to disagree with you about Brooke over-reacting because her reaction is so typical of a basically fed-up person. I don't live with those slut/bitches and I'm fed up. I only spend a half hour of my life with them per week, and I'm fed up with them. Her lashing out is the best fucking shit ever. I was surprised she didn't make threats like "I'd gut you and burn your entrails, or your vagina is crusty with diseases" speech because if I was in Brooke's place, I would have. I really would have loved to inflict some hurt on Jen's feelings and at this point, I really wished Brooke had heard Alex's advice from a few episodes back.

All that shit talk: "oh I feel bad for Brooke, cuz she takes things so personally and I don't, fine call me a trashy whore, I'm cool with that, I got my STD prescriptions, I get them filled, I'm all good." Yeah that shit talk....WHATEVER! She needs to be hurt and I'm thinking of going to Alex for advice...

Speaking of Alex! YAY to him but not so "YAY" for his penis and his penis brain??? (fucking idiot) Besides the fact that his penis (yes brainless... his penis does not have a brain, nor haaht) is exploring disease infected, I'm sure filled with dirty pirates, vagina owned by non-other than Jenn, I am congratulating him for a) showing how shitty Jenn is.. I'm sure everyone's pounded this one to death (that could be a pun), but how does Jenn get off calling anyone a whore? Alex was wearing Jenn's legs as a belt before "Oh, my God!" she realized that she was having sex. Bullets have left guns slower than it took that skank to drop her panties. Oh, damn....I was assuming she wore some in the first place.

Jenn is easily the biggest whore/bitch in Real World history. How anyone can stand being around her is beyond me.

If you watched Brooke's Aftershow (and God help me, I did), you know that Brooke and Jenn are actually close now.

On the subject of Colie, Brooke was more evasive and tactful. I take it they get along, but aren't friends.

I think that Jenn and Tyrie have their good points. I'm not sold on Colie and Alex.

and does anyone remember when she flipped out b/c tyrie asked why any time she goes someplace she doesn't like, she calls it the ghetto? she got on the phone to cry to her mother and was like, "i don't know why i'm paying $700 in rent while staying in this crazy house." when her mom pointed out that she was covering half the rent, brooke was like, "but the utilities and everything else..." and her mom was like, "i'm paying for that, too." ...she's a spoiled brat and judging from her temper needs some help.

I am so sick of Colie. She is so needy and whiny and pathetic. Why does she spend so much time chasing after Alex anyway? Like many people said, I don't get the appeal of him. Is she ever going to wake up and realize he's just a manipulative asshole taking advantage of the fact that she's a dependent slut who he can get some ass out of at any time? Seriously their whole "relationship" is sickening to watch. And how can she get upset when Jenn & Alex start making out [expected behavior from the two of them] when she was just making out, right in front of Alex, with her so-called boyfriend. As for Brooke, her exploding on Jenn was probably the funniest thing all season. I'm surprised no one just started laughing in her face. But I think the problem with Brooke is she lets every little thing get to her and under her skin to the point that she just lost her mind. However, all of that was still unneccesary.
