"Maybe I'm not as tough as I want people to think I am," Dolt concedes to us. Wow. Thanks for the confession. Your tough guy act totally had me fooled. But then he goes to Prety and tells him he doesn't hate him, he just gets frustrated with him. Well, that was actually a nice way to put it. Remember when Dolt lead the team in the Meathead intervention? There's a pretty okay guy in there, I just can't see why he insists on acting like such a jackass most of the time.
And Prety listens with his head down. Here's the thing. Prety's socially retarded. He's desperately afraid that people aren't going to like him, so he puts on a show about how he wants people to hate him and then he makes them hate him, so he never has to deal with anyone actually getting to know him and hating him. Which is a personality that makes for great reality television drama.
Go drink some pink wine and forget about it.
Anyway, Dolt says that he had no business getting involved in the fight in the first place, and Prety puts forth that they shouldn't be having dumb fights in the first place. Dolt admits that he must have some residual anger toward Prety, but he's not sure why. I can tell you exactly why, it was an infection from the Cattys. It's airborne, like ebola.
"I don't like it when you call me a peasant though," he tells Prety. Prety agrees to cut it out, and declares that there shouldn't be any more conflict between he and Dolt.
And then it's time for the return of Rick James! He comes back with his hobo backpack, and everyone is happy to see him. Goody has already officially absolved him of what he said to Prety - Prety pushed him and that's what Jesus would say and therefore it's not Rick James' fault. Also if he leaves, there will be no one to feed Goody's better-than-yours ego and, that's one hungry bitch.
Dolt takes the lead of the meeting. He admits acting pretty damn childish about Prety - he says that if he has a problem with Prety, he's taking it to the rest of the house instead of Prety himself, and he's not going to do that anymore. Self examination and adjustment? Are we still in the Real World?
Rick James says he's been nice to everyone in the house, and he's tried to have Prety's back when no one else did, but Prety's violated the trust so many times, that he thinks he'll never trust him. Then Goody chimes in to ask Prety what can be done? He says he won't do any more pranks. "And as for William," he continues, "I'd rather talk to him one on one."
They head outside, and Prety tells Rick James that he is not the victim in the situation. Then he accuses him of hitting on the Ugly Slutty Liar. Rick James doesn't want to hear it. He says it's going nowhere and does a big Goody-esque performance about how he just can not possibly speak to Prety for one more minute. Get a grip, Rick.
Why don't guys hit on us? EVER?
The next day, the phone's ringing and it's Meathead! Blondie picks up the phone and she's thrilled to hear from the little alky. They all miss each other, blah, blah, blah. They're going to visit him, and she can't wait, she tells him mustering up as much enthusiasm for the event as she can while painting her nails.
Meathead wants to know about the drama in the house, and Blondie fills him in on the situation with Prety and Dolt. Speaking of, Goody thinks that Dolt and Rick James need anger management. Dolt thinks he doesn't think he's angry, he just thinks he's just got a dose of "healthy man-ness".
He laments that it's not olden times, when everyone carried around a gun, and if "someone looked at ya the wrong way, ya shot 'em,". Ah, those were manlier times indeed. He wants to be a cowboy and carry around bows and arrows and shit. But he doesn't have an anger problem.
Rick James is going to anger management too, but he's not taking it very seriously either. It's going to be him and Dolt, and Rick James is going to give one-word answers. But during his meeting, Shannon, the anger management counselor in a fruity peach shirt and tie combination, manages to get to Dolt and they seem to resolve some of Dolt's Mr. Big Pants issues.

Seriously, last week Rick James lost most of my respect, but this week its really over. Seriously..."Your dad died because you are a f@%%^T!? I wouldn't have blamed pretty for decking his punk ass after that one. He really was the bigger man there.
Dolt just wants to fit in...Prety has never done anything to Dolt except teh dirty napkin in the bed and yet Dolt is always the loudest when Prety messes with somebody else. At least he admitted he shouldn't have been in the fight and admits to wanteing to talk to Prety's face. That I can respect.
I wish Goody would just leave. Jeeze. She doesn't do anything but sit on her high horse and cast judgement. Get over yourself honey.

ChickBomb, I was afraid you wasn't going to recap the show anymore because you were tired of it, although this is probably the most interesting season they've had in a while.
Anyway, I still like Rick James the most. He may have crossed the line with Prety, but I know for fact that Prety did more **** to his housemates that their not even showing and Rick just had to vent even if he went too far.
Say you want about this cast, MTV did a good job with casting this season. They all have their faults, but you cannot tell me that this season isn't ten times better than the last like 5 seasons combned.

Well, I have to be completely honest and say that I wasn't feeling this recap. These past two episodes have been kind of epic in nature and reading your recap made them seem boring. It also seems like you left out some important parts as well...or just kind of glossed over them.
Anyways, check out Youtube. Rick James and Prety have a lot of videos on there. Almost all of Rick's videos have terrible comments about him. Prety has some videos explaining some things that happened in the house. If you're not bored with the show...you might want to check them out.

I have to disagree with Mrs. Bojangles. I think ChickBomb does a phenomenal job pointing out and mocking how these "epic" Real World house arguments are really just petty, childish fights over nothing. No one with the slightest ounce of maturity would let themselves get involved in these fights. They are stupid.
Can anyone even explain what Rick James was so angry about? Prety and Goodie were arguing over what started their feud, and Goodie's brother was trying to say it sounds like the two of you can and should just put all this behind you, when Rick James came out of nowhere and started yelling and screaming about nothing that made any sense. And then afterward tried to call Prety a bully. Which makes perfect sense.

Of course nothing Prety did called for the type of comments the Will aka Rick made to him in regards to his father's death.
However... for all those out there who seem to think that an hour a week shows everything that happened in the house for the four months of filming... there's OBVIOUSLY many things that aren't being shown.
I like chicbomb's recaps but i have been a little disappointed in the last two with how much has been given to work with... that being said, i can see she's been listening to comments and trying to compromise with everyone's suggestions. so kudos.

I was really disgusted with Will these past two episodes, first he hooks up with that ugly chick that for some reason Prety likes, and then he butts in to Goody and Prety' argument saying how Prety got scared because he punched a wall. I loved how pretty told him "I'm not scared of you Will, you're not threat" something like the short guy with no muscles. And Dave kept yelling at least we stand up for ourselves over and over, it's easy when they both gang up on the other guy. God those guys are stupid, sucks when the 20 year old is the bigger man,literally and figuratively. I wonder why Greg goes home, maybe he gets "fired" cause I don't see him hitting anybody, I don't know.

I also think that this is a actually a good season of the real world and the recaps don't make it seem that way. I don't know where the love for Prety has come from and the Hate for everyone else. Prety is so annoying and I can see how he would get under everyone's skin...besides the fact that he is completely sexist. I believe the letter about the dirty kitches was from Dave, Sarah and Kim yet he only retaliated on the girls. He would infuriate me too. Prety is actually the only one in the house i cannot stand.

pretty gross the way the whole cast (plus a couple of random tv groupies) was making out with each other in the hot tub. YUK!

So, I was pretty disgusted with this episode. Yes, Greg/Prety has been a big asshole this season, but Will/Rick James had no business saying the things that he said. Prety is obnoxious, but he's not an axe murderer or anything. I have no idea where all of that anger from Will and Dave was about. Dave looked like such an idiot, by the way. He's such a follower, if someone else is mad at Greg he will be too for no reason. He's like 5'1'' and trying to scream and rant and look tough. Sorry nobody's buying it, midget.
Don't even get me started on Kim aka "I'll Judge Every Other Drunk Annoying Whore But When I Become When It's Acceptable".
The only people I honestly like from this season after this episode are Bri and Joey.
