Well, this was a pretty mellow week in the Real World Sydney. But, I suppose after the past few weeks of bitchfights and the highly anticipated sweeps worthy visit of Dunbar's Girlfriend Julie, everyone just wanted to take a break. So, they took us on a little vacation.
Watch out for cow tippers.
We start of the week with KA talking on the phone to Sutton back in Texas. At least I think that's his name, cause the way KA says it in her little dumb-is-adorable voice, it comes out like "Suh-in". She thinks it's OK to be talking to him, but meanwhile, Isaac and Dumby are telling Cow he needs to "cut the rope" with KA. She's been talking to and emailing Sutton all day, but Cow still wants to give her a chance.
They hit the Contiki office for this week's assignment, which is a trip to Cairns, a resort town in northern Australia. Go out to bars, eat at restaurants, go on a vacation, what a hard job this year's group is saddled with. Eveyone's excited, except of course, Frumpy Marge Parisa, who rolls her eyes and tells us she knows on the trip to Cairns everyone will be drunk and she'll have to take care of them...gotcha! Ha! Actually, Parisa is just as excited as everyone else, this time it's Shauvon and her boobs with the problem.
Shauvon is still going on about going home to Sacramento so she doesn't lose her boyfriend. She calls him and they fight. The conversation ends with David screeching, "I hope you have a lot of fun and I hope it's worth it!" He sounds like a spoiled little girl. What a keeper.
Well, girls, is it worth it?
And I'm mostly ignoring this part - that is, until they show Trasha taking a break from the action over at Isaac and Cow's kitchen table station, where they ask her if Shauvon's going home. "She wants to," replies Trash. Wait, what?
Next thing you know, Shauvon's calling a house meeting to break the news that she's going home! Again, what? I didn't see this coming at all! I really didn't think it was at all possible that she was really so weak and insecure to cave this ultimatum and go running back to this total loser in Sacramento. I really didn't. I thought we'd just get a whole season of whiny annoying phone calls. I don't know what to say about this, except I guess I was wrong.
And in the first five minutes? This is a roommate move-out, a producer's fantasy! Come on, this kind of thing normally gets a whole episode, but Shauvon's pathetic departure only rates five minutes. It's like the producers are just as disgusted with the decision as I am.
KA and Cow are both very supportive of Shauvon's decision to go home and party like it's 1959. Trasha is sad to be losing her BFF in the house. Shauvon departs in a hot pink tiara, and a hand in hand prayer with Trash. The boys don't seem to care that much that she's leaving. And, with a sad little song playing in the background, it's goodbye Shauvon.
I'll never forget your hair. I'll never forget yours! Kisses and Jesus!
Oh well, moving on, we pick up the very next day in Cairns, the home of the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. The group makes a low profile appearance in a huge Contiki bus. Dumby tells us he was born for travel and adventure. In other words, he's grateful to have this prelim audition for Road Rules.
They see the sights, which are really something - is this is the best real world locale or what - and then they get on a boat to go snorkeling. KA starts talking nonsense, like always. She misses Suh-in. And she doesn't want to like Cow, cause he'll probably hurt her or she'll probably hurt him. But she shouldn't talk to Suh-in. But she wants to reconcile. I was not kidding about her being cuter when she's not talking. Nice guys finish last, whines Cow. This whole country courtship is really getting on my nerves.
I dunno if I'm ready to share a pitcher of water with you yet.

i thought this was an awesome episode! i can't believe she went home- i hope she goes on the reunion episode and lets us know how that relationship is going... i still think issac is the best in the house, and KA is ridiculous! and poor parisa. she may be totally insecure with boys, but now she's alienated herself to the point where she can't win no matter what!

I stood up for Parisa when she was trying to steal Trasha's guy friend, but this is just too much. Let KA have her little bartender and stop throwing your hair in every guys face, Parisa! It's so blatant - it made me kinda peeved.
Smell ya later, Shauvon, hope you know you've made yourself look even more desperate for male attention than when you got pissed that guy called you a "6".
Enjoy your ultimatum giving bf and your double D's when your 45 years old!

This season better start picking up. I'm glad Shauvon and her boring story line are gone. But I will miss her enormous rack, extreme side part, and extra-extra wide torso.

I wonder what David will think when he watches these episodes and sees that Shavon screwed 2 other guys in the month she was there - on national TV - I didn't get the impression she told him those minor details!

I really can't stand Parisa...she needs to stop being sloppy seconds! I agree - I was with her when it came to Alex (was that his name) but I mean, this was just like, find another guy to dance with. I would've been pissed if I were KA too. I honestly can't believe Shauvon left. I hope they break up before the reunion airs. I wonder why the new girl scares Parisa so much...

This episode was pretty boring... Parisa was pathetic as usual, but Kelly Anne didn't really need to get all worked up the SECOND night at the club. The first, yeah, Parisa made a move on KA's boy, but what the hell was KA getting pissy about the second night?
And Trasha needs to shut her trap. She's the cattiest, bitchiest girl to be on RW or RR ever. Take the ugliest part of every semi-likeable RW/RR girl, combine it and you get Trasha, wholly unlikeable. She has Diem's self-righteousness + Frankie's (R.I.P) superiority complex + Beth's shittalking + Veronica's mean streak + Brooke's affinity for yelling.

I thought it was really lame Shauvon's boyfriend made her leave the show. I would never do that to someone I claim to love. I know they had their ups and downs and she kinda left him unfairly but still.
On another note, I felt kinda bad for Cow. He's genuinely into KA for all the right reasons, but true to form, like most immature young chicks she doesn't know what she wants and just plays with the guy. Although Cow could stand to be a little more aggressive already. Both of you are clearly into each other, so make a more aggressive move already dude.

Oh I also wanted to comment briefly on the new girl. I just thought it was a really dumb move for her to rip off Shauvon's pics like that. Not a good way to start off in a new place. Maybe take the pics off but don't rip them off like she did.

Shia, I love you!!! Excellent recap of the "Most Hated RR/RW Gals Ever". And thank you, thank you for not sparing Frankie (R.I.P.).

ChickBomb, this was a good read

i agree with everything about shauvon leaving; that guy sounded like a whiny little bitch and she was pathetic for going back to him, esp after how much shit she talked at the beginning - no guy was going to make her choose between marriage/career, etc. I guess perspective changes after you've been labeled a 6 overseas.
Also agree that Parisa dancing with Kelly Anne's bartender was over the top. I didn't care so much about the guy Trasha liked, but when i saw her dancing with the bartender, I was like OK she's one of those girls that tries to poach on any and every guy around.
Was I the only one confused by Shauvon's last minute prayer session with Trasha? Where did that come from? I know Trasha is all about being religious when it suits her, but that just seemed odd.

Why Parisa (I mean "Marge"), why??? Can not stand that girl. Can NOT stand watching her!

Did anybody see the commercial for I think it was the virtual Real World with Shauvon? Girlfriend's looking rough!!...and a total butterface.

I forgot to complete what I said. I meant to thank you for not pulling on Parisa too much in this episode and being fair. And it really was a funny recap

Jesus, when is Chickbomb going to get off her lazy ass and do a recap? She's missed two in a row.

Oh, crap, sorry. I formally retract my accusation of lazy assness. My apologies, the sincere, not Trisha-type. My link is for the RW page and the last posted recap there was 3 weeks ago. My mistake! And happy turkey day back.
