Real World: Class Act

So, we left the Real World Sydney with that cute, bubbly, outgoing Trasha literally knocking Parisa down. I forgot one comment last week - what's the deal with Trasha and her "personal shopper" gig? That drapey orange tank top thing was straight out of Walmart in 1985, and I do not mean that in a cool-retro kind of way. Off topic, I know, but she's gone before the next thirty minutes are over, and I had to get that in. And now, back to the your regularly scheduled drama.

Bitches
Get your umbrella. It's spitting bitches and c words outside!

The moments after...and Trasha is now on the phone with Daddy Christian. "I just pushed a fat girl!" Trasha gleefully informs him, "That girl has problems!". Mmm-hmm. Something tells me after this little incident, Parisa's not the one with the problems.

Parisa yells from outside the phone room that she's sure her family would be happy to know that she'd rather talk to her boyfriend then them. Trasha replies that she's sorry she comes from a classy family. That's right honey, two-tone haired bitches who hit when they're mad absolutely reek of not only class, but Christianity too!

Trash yells at Parisa to go work out, cause she has a long way to go. What is she talking about? Underneath her JC Penny collection wardrobe, Parisa actually has a cute bod. More than we can say for Trasha, who Parisa points out has grown a disgusting gut while she's been in the house. Then she calls Trash "Miss Piggy". Loves it, Marge, I laughed out loud at that one.

Divorce
This divorce is all your fault.

Back on the phone, Daddy Christian tells Trasha to tell Parisa that she's sorry. "But I'm not!" she insists. Do you want me to lie, she queries him? Cause lying isn't a very Christian thing to do. But Dad tells her that sometimes you have to be the bigger person, and put the olive branch out there. I personally don't see how apologizing for something that you legitimately did wrong is "being the bigger person", but I can see that the Christians sure have their hands full with this one. I can't think of a bigger challenge for these parents than getting their hateful witch of a daughter to do the right thing.

"Sometimes you gotta swallow your pride," Trasha's Dad continues. And finally, Trasha gets it. "I know," she concedes. "So do it," Daddy Christian says firmly, no longer humoring his little devil. They probably had to call an emergency mass over in Fresno over this one.

But when she offers Parisa her phony apology, Parisa will have none of it. "Go fuck yourself," she tells her. Rightly so, because Trasha's bullshit apology is immediately followed by the insult that she has someone who loves her and friends. Proving without any doubt that Trasha is in no way sorry for what she did...she's just sorry about the consequences.

Sorry-1
I'm sorry you're fat and friendless and desperate and going to hell right along with your Muslim family, whore face.

Parisa again reminds us of the no physical violence rule in the Real World house. Then we see KA telling Ashli that Trasha might have to go home. This is very upsetting to both of them. KA doesn't think Parisa will do it, but Cow and his country wisdom think she just might. It's a tough call, Cow muses, either she's spineless, or a tattletale.

Parisa, who with the exception of the Miss Piggy comment, which I totally forgive her for cause I loved it, has remained admirably calm through all of the drama. She calls her sister Nikki, the big family road trip all but forgotten, who basically tells her to grow a pair.

Meanwhile, Trash is commiserating with KA, Ashli and Cow. She warns them that her delightful presence in the house depends on what they have to say about it, especially Cow. "Cause she won't listen to me," Trasha complains. Ugh, that unreasonable Parisa. Getting pushed down, and then refusing to listen to your fake apology.

KA reminds Trash that they had some mean words afterward, and Cow warns that if Parisa does allow Trasha to stay, she better keep her lips on Parisa's ass. Even though I already know Trasha's gone, I'm still sort of hoping that it goes the other way just to see how that one plays out. Kind of like in Titanic, when they're turning and turning and there's a moment when you think, well, maybe they won't hit that iceberg.

I hope these two have a long, happy relationship.

KA and Ashli are beyond pathetic. I love that they acted EXACTLY like people who have lost their leader. They know good and well they could never be Trasha, but they sure can continue the hate and that's all they really need. I think it's safe to say that this is the sole season of RW I could have done without. This entire cast, with the exception of Isaac, is just dispicable. I get that Parisa hasn't made it easy to be her friend this season, but seriously those bitches wouldn't be worth my time. I would take isolation over being "friends" with those girls any day. At the end of the day, I guess they were just acting their age, but I can't even use that as an excuse because I never acted like that when I was that age. Maybe when I was in like 8th grade. Ugh, I can't wait for Isaac to come back because I need something to make this bearable and make me not want to have a rage blackout and travel to Fresno, Huntington Beach, and wherever in TX KA is from.

shia0bundan:

I actually think this season of RW is pretty good. Its pretty entertaining and is definately a step up from Denver (ugh, god Colie & Jenn?) in my opinion.

Kelly Ann and Ashli suck. Really, there is no other way to put it. And Dumby and Cow suck too... you KNOW the only reason they don't stand up for Parisa is because they're both pussy whipped. That is why Isaac is the only one that will (next week) come back and openly say what Dunbar and Cow both have been saying in the confessionals. All the guys hated Trasha too!

All in all though... Kelly Anne and Ashli are followers and are less bitchy than Trasha and Shauvon, so in the end I think Parisa will be okay.

isharma:

Excellent recap ChickBomb. :D

"She warns them that her delightful presence in the house depends on what they have to say about it, especially Cow." I love this line. hahahahhaa. you're amazing.

And I can't WAIT for Isaac to come back and give Parisa some comforting..because she seriously needs it.

sharonly23:

I can't believe that after KA was standing right there when Parisa got pushed that she would support Trasha so strongly knowing that what she did was wrong. I officially can't stand KA, she is a horrible disgusting person. Trasha must have felt pretty highly of herself to feel the need to say that Parisa was "nothing". I hope when she watches herself on the show that she is humiliated by her actions. I just wish I was a roommate in that house because I would be KA & Ashley's worst nightmare.

lalia:

I tend to forget the Denver season ever happened, which says a lot. Of course, while that cast was something else, I think I would take E.Coli and crew over this Sydney crew just because I didn't find them to be as dispicable. The girls are just sucky people and the guys for some reason or another are scared of those bitches...save for Isaac. I can't even wait for him to actually voice what everyone (minus the minions) have been thinking when it comes to Trasha.

snootchy bootches:

After last week's episode, I went looking for information to see if Trasha was kicked... and it ultimately led me to her My Space page. You know, I would have felt better about her if she would have seen herself on TV and had some sort of self-realization that she needed to change some things. No such luck. She posted an "apology" that basically went like this: I'm sorry for what I did to Parisa but she is a blah blah blah blah... but I am sorry for it even though everyone will see that she is a jerk. Blah blah blah... and blah.

She is what I like to call an Oxygen Thief because she is stealing air that could be used by the rest of us.

nerrawllehctim:

I'm glad that Trasha went home. It's just sad that KA and Ashlii had to go in the direction of Evel Dick Donato.

HereKittyKitty:

I can't remember any cast members I have hated as much as these people. The entire time that Parisa was asking for their opinions, I kept waiting for Cow and Dumby to speak up about how they hated skunk hair Trash-heap too. But noooooooooo, they let Parisa dig that hole herself.

Everytime that KA and Ashli kept bitching that Parisa sent Trash-heap home I literally kept screaming at the screen "SHE BROKE THE F-ING RULES!!! SHE SENT HERSELF HOME!!!" Someone should call the Scientologists, because Trasha obviously stole their patented method of brain washing. Either that or both girls bonded by being so slutty that they have yet to sleep in their own beds this season.

At this point I hope that white-trash KA gets herself knocked up. My only sympathies would go to Cow, as he seems to actually have a brain. I was in Georgetown earlier this week, and I wish I had run into that slut, but the fact is that I never ventured into the white trash part of town so the chances were slim to none.

I cannot WAIT for Issac to get home. In the preview when he said "everyone hated Trasha, she was an evil... etc. etc." I was laughing with glee. Finally, someone that tells it like it is. Everyone likes Issac, so perhaps Parisa won't have to live in misery for the rest of the season.

Ughhhhhhhhh, I know this is a long post, but seriously, this episode made me so angry. I'm not much older than these people, and it just really makes me lose hope in humanity.

HereKittyKitty:

I got so worked up, I forgot to mention:

GREAT recap Chickbomb! You had me laughing out loud!

seraphmoon:

Georgetown? You mean Georgetown DC? Why would you see KA there?

pinky1234:

Thank you for this recap!

gfab:

OK, I can't resist making a completely catty comment. What kind of personal shopper would wear fake Chanel sunglasses on TV? Is she that stupid? Personal shoppers are supposed to have fashion sense, taste and style. I have seen none of that from Trasha. She is a worthless piece of trash, and I am so glad that she is gone. Eveything about her is offensive-from the faux Christianity (I'll bet Jesus is thrilled) to her skunk hair. Buh bye Trash. Please disappear forever, and be sure to take KA and Ashli with you. These people are just despicable, and MTV really scraped the bottom of the barrel when they cast this season.

MichellePR:

I'm soooo glad the hateful bitch is gone, well one of them. KA and Ashli should get booted just for their intimidation tactics and verbal abuse or they should get fired for being immature bitches. God I hate them. I watched the whole episode hoping Isaac would get back and back Parisa on her decision. I can't wait to see this week's episode and see Isaac tell it like it is, I wanna see their reaction. I loved it in the previews when KA said you don't like Trisha? And Isaac said "Nobody likes Trisha" or something along those lines. Loves it! Great recap :)

joeydoll:

Honestly I have never seen such blatant racism and ignorance. I have never disliked a cast of real world like I have these people. Wait the only one that gets a reprieve is Isaac

michyPR:

I wonder if they'll bring in a new roommate or just have 6 for the rest of the season...

HereKittyKitty:

seraphmoon: No, Georgetown, TX, as that is her hometown.

yankeesfan:

Ugh...I cannot even find words to express the disgust I have for this cast! I think I actually hate KA the most...her sad and confused look the whole time...made me want to barf!!! She saw Trash push Parisa and couldn't care less! Even if I were friends with Trash (which I never would be) I still would've been like WTF!!! As much as I don't like Parisa I feel really bad for her. I too cannot wait for the voice of reason to come back next week! Oh, and I can't stand Ashli either...she shouldn't have even been able to have an opinion - she was hardly in the house! I can't wait for the reunion show at the end to see what everyone has to say...

sardini:

Since I'm still in 8th grade (I'm 28), I checked out the girls' MySpaces. Apparently, KA, AshlI, and Parissa all become friends in the end.

This doesn't surprise me. First of all, it's much easier for people to become friends AFTER living together. I have lived with many of my friends at one point or another, and like them a lot more now.

What probably happens is this: Isaac sets the "we all hate Trisha" precedent, and the sheep follow. Their simple minds get bored with ignoring Parissa, and Trisha's control lessens without her presence.

Parissa finally finds the acceptance she's craved the entire season, and we have a teary final episode, complete with my least favorite reality TV saying ever, "At the end of the day..." followed by some half-ass cliche comments about how they all learned from their experiences and it made them stronger....complete with mispronunciations and mixed-metaphors.

EZ Rider:

I'm glad Isaac's back next week too. Really a star character among RW casts. I wish the producers would've figured out before the 19th (20th?) cycle that non-dramatic and open-minded is fun to watch.

I would hate KA more if she wasn't so damn hot.

JasonR:

Very funny recap of a nauseating episode. My feeling is that the house meeting was probably more the producers' making than anything, and that Parisa was asked to ask the roommates what they thought. It really was sad that no one was in her corner at all, though.

bakismaki:

As much as I can't stand Parisa sometimes. I support her choice, and actually ended up liking her a bit more for it.

I'm a little disappointed the dudes didn't stick up for her more. But it might have something to do with the fact, Dumby and Cowhutta are trying to get laid by the respective idiotic bitches left in the house. Hopefully Isaac sticks up for her a little. Apparently he does, as he makes a comment about not liking Trasha.

Kelly Ann and Ashli are retarded. Seriously. Grow up you dumb bitches.

ClosetExtrovert:

GREAT RECAP!! Thank you!

Parisa's "have a nice flight" was one of the best moments of the season. Trasha just stood there looking like an idiot. The two alphas realizing who won the war of dominence over the pack. The two betas were still following orders, because they aren't smart or sober, like, EVER..KellyAnn won't have a liver left when she returns stateside. And it's so attractive how she drunkenly stumbles around all the time...
Gawd, these people are all assholes. Trasha was a she-beast, though. HIDEOUS human being and completely out of control.
I HATE them.

mattypopo:

Trisha is garbage. So is this show, has been for awhile, I think the 1st Vegas lowered the bar to an acceptable point, but now it makes me weep for the youth of this world. Now off to see if I can find pictures of any of these gorls naked.

jazzhandstheworld:

Absolutely proof positive this show IS garbage, and further happy that I am not nor have I ever been involved in a perky preppy state school social clique like the one portrayed here. Remember how this show used to have some (very slight)moral intent about how to treat people who were different from you? She slammed her religion. The producers stir up no discussion about how backwards and evil that was? No internal discussion on the subtextual racism that is going on here? It's gross to watch.

k37744:

dear mtv,

can you please add more commercials to the real world broadcast? i'm still not sure if i understand exactly what kind of music m.i.a. plays and whether or not i want heidi and spencer to break up. about 30 more breaks should do it.

much love,

k37744

anger.

rarely does a tv show make me insanely ragingly angry. so angry that i wished dearly that i was a member in that house so i could set a few bitches straight. seriously. to SPIT on the window and taunt a grown woman with high school jeers because you lost your leader. i could NOT remain calm and blow it off marge-style. my ass would've been tossed for violent repercussions toot sweet.

toot.

sweet.

closetextrovert:

Oh and by the way, your caption has me laughing out loud for real-

"I'm sorry you're fat and friendless and desperate and going to hell right along with your Muslim family, whore face."

hehehehe...It still is...

blahblah:

Wait, did I miss something? Is it snowing in hell? Since when is ChickBomb SYMPATHIZING with Parisa? Way to switch sides, there, CB. You were on Trisha's side for the longest, through all the mean-spirited things she did and said. I haven't forgotten how evil and judgmental you were (hmm, reminds me of someone...) towards Parisa just because she's a fan of mom jeans. Don't jump on the Parisa bandwagon now that Trisha's gone, CB. Stick with your original sister-love for Trisha.
