Tori was picked to go into the Pit and we still weren't given any sort of clue as to why they are only voting for one person to go into the pit instead of two, but I am guessing they were running into a time crunch. People were only able to vote for the Road Ruler for a few hours after the episode aired. Now since we are only voting for the pit crew, it can happen all week. It takes a little bit extra out of the voting aspect, but I really think the voting was kind of secondary. The viewers want more DRAMA.
Tori was voted into the pit by the luck of the draw, and the viewers decided to place her into the Pit with Veronica. Last time around, the challenge was physical so Veronica had a slight disadvantage. She is a good competitor, but in a battle of body mass, she is always going to lose. This week the battle was a puzzle, which means that it was going to be a battle of brain mass, and not to rip on Veronica too much, but she doesn't always come out on top in those battles either.
I have to say that for the most part, Drew is still kind of a douche, but at least he isn't taking away from the program. He is finally using his arms in an almost natural manner when he speaks. Unfortunately, there wasn't much he could do to make this battle very exciting. Oh, he called it exciting, and you know that whenever a puzzle is thrown at these people, it is going to take more than the five minutes that most 1st graders take to finish, but there was something missing. In the end, Tori won, and Veronica admitted that she would much rather go into the Pit with somebody that she hates, like Kina.
Back inside the RV, everybody was really hoping that Tori came back because, like I said, they are all about one big happy family. Therefore, they were all really happy to see the beauty queen waiting for them at whatever undisclosed location they were picking her up from. Dan was especially happy because Tori also started life out in the Pit, meaning that she was also doing this for the first time. This gave them some sort of connection, which a number believe might turn out to be romantic at some point in time. As for me, I'm a cynic, and knowing how the veterans operate, it is always a better idea to have newbies around, because that makes it easier to spread the blame.

Ugh. What an absolute dud of a season! Each episode gets more and more boring.

Road Rules couldn't be anymore stupid. Honestly, the producers couldn't have thought of a better idea to make Road Rules better? Why can't they go back to the vintage days where you didn't have to learn a new players name each week.. and the rules are pretty dumb as well.
Also, why does it feel like they're reading off of huge cue cards when they're talking about their challenge? Especially Adam and Dan. I always want to shake them and tell them to read it with some passion!

worst. show. ever.
the production quality stinks (it looks like my uncle charles shot it with his camcorder), i couldn't care less about anyone on the RV, and the challenges are absolutely boring. more duel/gauntlet/inferno. less road rules. please.

i will add the caveat that this show would be much better if they brought back abram to repeatedly punch in the face anyone who loses the pit challenge each week -- guy or girl.

What a snoozefest! At least they gave the Roadmaster something to help with his flailing arms.

I couldn't agree more. What happened to the Road Rules of yesteryear when they would actually travel the country and not just California? I mean I know California's big but come on.
I don't mind seeing the cast get along, but at least make the challenges more dramatic. Until this gets better I'm just going to read the recaps instead of actually watching the show.

Seriously....was I the only one confused by the time clocks being flashed on screen? They made no sense to me at all.

I agree, this season is just hugely BORING and lame.
Did anyone catch Drew saying a very over-excited, "Ready, set, GO!!" at the start of the challenge? He was crouching and everything. Just blow the damn airhorn and say "go", dude.

This episode made me appreciate my DVR and tvgasm all the more! I just "watched" the episode, and by watched I mean I fast-forwarded through most of it.
I actually thought it was pretty cool to see the Roadies reading the comments about them online. And - dare I say - it actually made me like Kina a bit. Not sure why, but I think it made her seem a little human, and not afraid to poke fun at herself.
Veronica will keep going back to the pit until she makes it into the RV, which will hopefully be next week. We need some drama.

On Veronica's blog for this week she said something like 'make no mistake, Kina didn't volunteer herself'.
Also someone said that Tina posted about it on her myspace.
Does anyone know what this is all about?
