While I think the viewers voting has been a mixed bag, the other great part about having the show taking place in real time is that the people in the RV get to see what we have to say about them. Each of the people in the RV and the Pit have a blog. I wouldn't really call them a blog, but since they are written and on the Internet and corporate America loves to hear the word "blog", that what we'll call them. Other than voting for Veronica, the fans at the official Road Rules site at MTV like to talk about Kina, specifically her make up. Kina stopped putting her makeup on somewhere between hooker and clown, and the fans have no trouble letting her hear about it, and the rest of the people in the RV had no problem sucking it up. Kina acted like it really hurt, but come on, she has been doing dumb shit on TV for a while now. This can't be the first time she has read that people think she is stupid and/or a skank.

An autograph in from Kina. Worth it's weight in eyeliner.

Another cool thing about this season, as long as you live in California, is that the episodes are taking place in real time, meaning you could end up running into some of these people at some point or another. No, I don't have any inside tips on where they might be going, but if you want to have one of these folks sign an autograph for you, you can start by visiting your local Wendy's. The Wendy's / Under Armor advertiser combo seems kind of strange. In one corner, you have an apparel manufacturer created to help people look as buff as possible. In the other corner, you have a fast food restaurant with a food lineup that does just the opposite. Hmm, maybe Paula Abdul was when she came up with that song.

The people at Wendy's were so happy to see the Road Rulers, and I am sure it had nothing to do with being Wendy's employees, but eventually the RV had to make it's way to Joshua Tree Lake for the next challenge. The message on their Cingular Blackjack said the next mission was going to rock, double entendre INTENDED. And actually, it became a triple entendre. The mission was going to rock because they were rock climbing, and it was also going to rock because they were going to be carrying rocks. It rocked so much, it was recursive (not really, but who doesn't like using recursive for completely no reason every now and then?).

Climbing the rock was easy to figure out, but why all the extra rocks, 304 lbs to be exact? That represented Dan and Tori's weights combined. And while we were all at home marveling at the symbolism, the Road Rules were at Turtle Rock nearly shitting themselves. They had to split this extra 300 pounds among the six of them, and they all had to climb the rock and rappel down all within two hours.

Ugh. What an absolute dud of a season! Each episode gets more and more boring.

Road Rules couldn't be anymore stupid. Honestly, the producers couldn't have thought of a better idea to make Road Rules better? Why can't they go back to the vintage days where you didn't have to learn a new players name each week.. and the rules are pretty dumb as well.

Also, why does it feel like they're reading off of huge cue cards when they're talking about their challenge? Especially Adam and Dan. I always want to shake them and tell them to read it with some passion!

worst. show. ever.

the production quality stinks (it looks like my uncle charles shot it with his camcorder), i couldn't care less about anyone on the RV, and the challenges are absolutely boring. more duel/gauntlet/inferno. less road rules. please.

i will add the caveat that this show would be much better if they brought back abram to repeatedly punch in the face anyone who loses the pit challenge each week -- guy or girl.

What a snoozefest! At least they gave the Roadmaster something to help with his flailing arms.

I couldn't agree more. What happened to the Road Rules of yesteryear when they would actually travel the country and not just California? I mean I know California's big but come on.

I don't mind seeing the cast get along, but at least make the challenges more dramatic. Until this gets better I'm just going to read the recaps instead of actually watching the show.

Seriously....was I the only one confused by the time clocks being flashed on screen? They made no sense to me at all.

I agree, this season is just hugely BORING and lame.

Did anyone catch Drew saying a very over-excited, "Ready, set, GO!!" at the start of the challenge? He was crouching and everything. Just blow the damn airhorn and say "go", dude.

I was a bit confused by the quick cuts between cameras, one of which was apparently placed in the contestant's helmets with a fish-eye lens.

This episode made me appreciate my DVR and tvgasm all the more! I just "watched" the episode, and by watched I mean I fast-forwarded through most of it.

I actually thought it was pretty cool to see the Roadies reading the comments about them online. And - dare I say - it actually made me like Kina a bit. Not sure why, but I think it made her seem a little human, and not afraid to poke fun at herself.

Veronica will keep going back to the pit until she makes it into the RV, which will hopefully be next week. We need some drama.

On Veronica's blog for this week she said something like 'make no mistake, Kina didn't volunteer herself'.

Also someone said that Tina posted about it on her myspace.

Does anyone know what this is all about?
