Female Glenn says she was able to complete the girl's color highlights before she got switched to someone else, and says when she got her back she didn't have the bangs like she wanted, and at this point VampiRoy interrupts and says "You still didn't give her bangs, though!" Glenn tries to parry this thrust by saying "She didn't necessairiliy want a full bang thayat cayme daown but jest mowor araound the face is how ah interpret thayat..." VampiRoy ain't buyin' the BS and asks the client directly if that was what she wanted, and she skewers Female Glenn's argument when she says that yes, she did want a side bang. VampiRoy then sails over the edge of Cheeseville when he asserts "I don't know, I mean, for somebody that was begging to be banged, I think she should have got a bang!" Ha ha, oh ho, my sides hurt from that one. I bet Roy saves that one up and just waits for every chance he can to use it...
...Lesbiana Dee thought it was funny... but then again, Lesbiana Dee is an ass-kisser...
Time to pass judgment, which is why I love writing this stuff! *cackle* VampiRoy says that his bottom two are (drumroll, please).... Drag Queen Meredith, because of her toxic red coloring that overshadowed the cut and styling... and Exotic Nekisa! Nekisa immediately whines "Oh my Gawwwd!" and borrows Über-Gay Paulo's biggest gay eye-roll yet... and VampiRoy says that the haircut she gave her client is "quite ordinary". Nekisa then rolls from zero to BITCH in about 0.3 seconds as she spits back "I didn't cut her hair!", and VampiRoy shoots back "Doesn't matter. She's your client... and you should have made changes if you did not approve of it." So how does Nekisa respond to this criticism of her talent?...

Yup, she pouts and rolls her eyes like a bratty snotty teenager, right to Roy's face! Real mature way to handle it there, girl... you don't come off looking like a spoiled bitch at all! Really! I'm so pissed at this girl right now, because up until this week she seemed to be kinda cool, but now that she's managed to land in the bottom on almost every challenge, and her frustration seems to have turned her mean, I think it's safe to say that she just sucks great big elephant balls and doesn't have the adult sensibility to own up to her fuckups like the rest of us have to (which is why you will never find me on reality television... I'll own my fuckups, but I sure as hell don't want a bunch of people watching while I do!).
As if this display of wanton effrontery wasn't bad enough, things look even worse for Exotic Nekisa when VampiRoy actually calls out the official loser of the challenge as Drag Queen Meredith! I really kinda feel for Meredith here, she just got too ambitious for what the challenge allowed... and how does she react to being on the bottom of the dogpile? She says "It did nat go well for me ayat all today... I cayme in lyast, but, oh well, y'know, ya win some, ya lose some... oh wait, no, I hyaven't won anything yet!" *grins* Oh Meredith, I love a Drag Queen with healthy streak of self-deprecation! She took it like a man!
Time for the winners! Today's winners are brought to you by the letter "D" for "Daniel" and "Dee"... and the winner is... Lesbiana Dee. She does her butch happy dance and immediately starts making this win out to be proof that she's going to take the entire competition. "Communication was key in this challenge, it was very similar to how I work in the salon and that's why I had it in the bag!" Yahoo. Put something else in your bag, darlin', this was just a Short Cut Challenge, everybody knows the Elimination Challenges are what get you, you know, sent home. Anyhow, Lesbiana Dee will have first choice of client at the next day's Challenge, and the stylestants are dismissed for the evening...

good recap again! But I have to say, I'm definitely not feeling the recap being broken up into 2 seperate parts. AT ALL. I prefer to read about it all at once.

Bubblehead-isa reminds me too much of Hilda Suarez. Hilda has the redeeming quality that she's a FICTIONAL character. Nekisa... well. I picture this as her inner monologue: "(crickets chirping)...(crickets chirping) I'm pretty! (crickets chirping) I have a husband! (crickets chirping)"
I will miss Meredith. I liked her dry humor. I wish Nekisa was gone. And hell, NO, who could miss Oshun and Matthew???????

I have to agree with Dee on the message, but not necessarily the delivery. If you have a client, and you've discussed what is going to happen with her hair, when you pass her off to another stylist you communicate that plan so it doesn't come out a f'ed up mess. Much like most of the clients in this challenge. In the end, whether you finish the style or not, because you consulted and developed a plan, she is your client. You own up to it and follow up on it.
That being said, does anyone else thing the length of time they give on some of these challenges is messed up? These could be some of the most talented stylists in the nation, but the time limits can be unrealistic. 1.5 hours to consult, color, cut and style? Not in the real world. Sure they, should be able to work fast, but when you factor in nerves and pressure, it's too much to accomplish. The producers should realize that when success in a challenge is the exception, not the norm.
