ABC and the producers of Lost take a different approach by launching an interactive game that does not involve a story line that is featured on the show, but is supposed to be geared towards people who have watched every episode as well as people like me, who think that you people who watch every episode and talk about it all the time should just shut the hell up and let the rest of us live in peace. Details are little more than press releases at this point, but there will be new characters (as if you didn't have enough trouble keeping track of everybody now) and Ana Lucia is revealed as a cyborg and she blows up and kills all of The Others. Just kidding on that last one. I like making up spoilers about the show and watching fans of the show stare into space and wonder if I am telling the truth. Since the writers make things up as they go, this works all the time. Try it yourself someday. Anyway, if you would like to play along, the first clue will be revealed during the episode on May 3rd.

Can we finally put an end to the assertion that the writers make everything up as they go along? They don't do this more than most shows, and in fact, Lost most likely has the thickest show bible of any show on TV right now. Was that hatch map a few weeks ago not enough proof for you that the writers know where this is going? Or their claim that they know the Season 3 finale already?

Some shows do make it up as they go; I'm not saying this is true for "Lost" (I have no idea at all and I don't even wander around the serious websites), but it has been and is true for a lot of shows.
J-Unit, I wish your idea was true!

Is this anything like the AI online game (from the Kubrick/Spielberg) movie? The one you started by typing 'Jeanine Salla' into a search engine (she was credited on the movie posters as 'sentient machine therapist)? That totally rocked.

Can you believe they did a recap episode this week and called it "new"? How frustrating! That was a huge let down for me. Did you guys catch anything valuable in this recap episode? Any clues or easter eggs? I didn't see any but you guys are much more alert than I am. I don't have TIVO.
