Hollah party people! It's time for So You Think You Can Dance!!!! It's bBitz here and I couldn't be more excited! I LOVE THIS SHOW. I've watched every season, attempted every dance move I've ever seen on it (most resulting in broken furniture and hospital stays) and fallen in love with every SYTYCD dancer - except Benji - he totally got on my nerves the moment he won. Let's get this party started - I know I'm a little behind with the recaps - please forgive - I'll be bringing them like Mia Michaels in no time - hot and heavy! HEY!
The season starts out with our favorite sass-tastic Brit, Cat Deeley! I have to admit - she drives me a little crazy - but I met her once and she's actually really nice. I'll see how long I can last without turning on her like I did Useless Samantha on that other dance show. USELESS!
Cat starts off by reminiscing about the last 3 years and the winners - Season 1: Nick (YEAH!), Season 2: Benji (Travis was robbed!) and Season 3: Sabra (YEAH!). She then introduces the best montage ever of what we have to look forward to this season. I peed myself for 4 minutes straight.
Oh where, oh where to start a show off that takes the talents and flaws of fame-seekers and exploits them for TV!?!? LOS ANGELES! There's a giant line outside the Orpheum theatre and I can't even imagine how long the people at the front have been waiting there. Probably since the time Nigel got up to do his hair.

No mention of the pageant princess girl....hated her.

I was an enthusiastic Benjy fan...'til that self-indulgent performance last year where he dropped his pants at the end.

And if they don't want creeps like "Sex" showing up every year, then stop giving him airtime. How do you spell hypocrite? N-I-G-E-L.

Great recap even if it is a little late.
Anyway, I'm so glad this show is back, Idol left me depressed, this whole 2 hr. show was more entertaining than the whole Idol season combined.
Nigel, don't complain about "Sex" wanted to be on TV if you keep showing "Sex" on tv. Maybe if you didn't show his audition everytime, maybe he wouldn't show up.
To cattyfan, David Cook is supposedly dating that fake contestant from season 2 of idol, Kimberly Caldwell.

David Cook isn't dating her. They went on A date, which is speculated to have been a PR stunt anyway. Here's hoping. I cried myself to sleep last night.

I actually DO think that Sex has improved since last year. And by improvement I mean he now has skills comparable to a 5 year old, as opposed to a child of 3.
I've found this season to be kind of ho-hum so far. My favorite contestants have been Travis, Heidi, Dmitri, Pasha, Sara, Anya, Sabra, Shauna and Neil - although I've loved them all.
Everybody that's auditioned so far, except that ballroom dancing couple, have been pretty blah.

Hey bbitz! You don't know how excited I was to see that a) there was someone finally recapping SYTYCD season 4 b) that you were doing the recaps (loved your DWTS recaps! Ok...now I feel like a recap groupie...)
I can see we probably won't see eye to eye on fave dancers (I so wanted Benji to win season 2 and that kherington girl did nothing for me) I know you'll make me lmao all season long. Can't wait for more!

Great first recap, though you had me worried that there wasn't going to be one this year.
Anyway, you had me laughing the whole way through, although I have to disagree with your saying Travis was robbed; clearly it was adorable Kevin--err, I mean Ivan who should have won.

Great recap. Mia "Don't be Such a Needy Dancer" is possibly my favorite choreographer.
