Let the Games Begin -
by J-Unit
To play in the tournament:
1. Go to http://games.espn.go.com/tcmen/frontpage
2. Click on the "Sign Up Here For Free" button to register
3. After completing registration, click the "Create Entry" button to create an entry for your set of picks.
4. Once you have created your entry, click "Create or join a Group" and do a search for TVgasm. When prompted, enter the password "passion!" (don't use quotes) and click "Join This Group"
5. Enjoy all of the great basketball in the next two and a half weeks.
You can make your picks right up until the first game starts next week. We will post a few reminders just in case people forget to sign up/fill their brackets and will post updates throughout the tournament. Any questions or comments, please e-mail finalfour@tvgasm.com.
Good luck! Since we don't know seed or brackets yet, how about some nice mascot trash talk for the comments? Otto the Orange will take you down!

Comments
Otto will be lucky to make an appearance at the tourney and so will his basketball team. But they helped themselves by beating Cincy today.
Go PITT!!

i'm rooting for the blue devils, but if, for some reason they continue this losing streak, then i'd say go buckeyes!

I'm secretly pulling for Gonzaga. (I can hear my Father screaming like Homer Simpson from 800 miles away)(Sorry Dad)
It's just that I never hear "Gonzaga" uttered anytime other than NCAA bball time. I've never met anyone who went there. If you asked most people they wouldn't know what or where it was.
So..GO GONZAGA BULLDOGS!

The funny thing about those who live in LA is that they have to make the effort at 9AM tomorrow morning to watch their Orange get crushed by the mighty UConn juggernaut.

LQ - I love it when the little guys are kickin' ass!
Not that long ago, SW Missouri State knocked off some MAJOR contenders and ruined a whole wad of brackets. Of course Steve Alford was their coach.
The upsets are my fav part of March Madness. Brackets-by-the-numbers is BORING!

Can "staff" participate? If it makes you feel any better I have absolutely no chance at winning. Just ask sg-dub.

I'm going to marry Gerry McNamara. He just doesn't know it yet. (And neither does my boyfriend.) Over-rated, shmover-rated.
And after beating a certain "mighty juggernaut" this afternoon, it looks like Otto's one step closer to the tourney!
(PS no bad blood with any UConn fans out there. I went to SU for grad school, so that's where my loyalties lie. UConn is awesome, obviously.)

THE CUSE IS IN THE HOUSE OH MY GOD!@!!!!
WHO'S OVERRATED NOW!
And clearly Otto isn't anyone to mess with considering he had a Husky hanging from a noose on national television...now that's a statement!

Clearly there is some disturbance in the force. Truth be told, I'm happy for the Orange, and for you too, J-Unit. The more Big East teams the better. May I also add that Rudy Gay may be the most talented guy since Ray Allen (I disagree), but he needs to be refined. He's just a baby.

J-Unit can you address the number of entries allowed? It seems like each person can fill out five. Will we be filling out one bracket? That seems to make sense, but I'm intrigued by the other possibility. No emergency, but more details when you get them please.
PS- Spoiler-a-thon on the Project Runway post. Don't read if you don't want to know.

defending 'gasm champ in the house.
ahhh, memories of 2004-'05.
when carolina played more than just freshmen, adriana was still alive in north jersey, we didn't know what was in the hatch on mystery frickin' island and dave chappelle made a nation laugh @ blind african-american klansmen.
good times, people.
good times.

leah3t- you are one lucky lady! this year alone,my teams lost EVERYTHING! USC lost in the Rose Bowl, the Giants lost early in the playoffs, the cleveland indians didn't get too far in the post-season, and the knicks-well, i don't even consider them a professional basketball team anymore
my last hope is with duke and i just know, if history repeats itself, they'll find a way to help me get to 0 and 5..because i'm a cynic

Leah3t- i'm not really that depressed (read:still very depressed)anymore about my teams because the rangers have done really well this season, so i'll be ok, even if duke loses...but i'm really pulling for them to win it all
that's awesome that you got tix, though!

I was at the gardens AGAIN tonight to watch the fantastic victory! The Cuse was on fire! WE CANNOT BE STOPPED!
Criscogirl big props for remembering the CUSE IS IN THE HOUSE OMIGOD days.
Fantastic. Gmac is magic. He is he-man. He is atlas.
The Villanova thing was rough- he got poked in the eye last night and it looked REALLY disgusting on teh tape, like his eye had popped out. Thank God the injury was not seriouis though and with eyedrops and rest he should be fine. I am not a Nova fan but I was sincerely praying for him last night because it looked awful and very painful.
