Enjoy this clip from last night's Apprentice, featuring quite possibly the best marketing campaign Lamborghini could ever ask for. Full recap to follow later.

I loved last night's stomp on the table followed by the gun trigger "You're Fired".
Those guys were way too cocky and both of them should have been FIRED! The girls on this season are annoying....especailly the short blonde girl and the plastic barbie on the show. Maybe there will be some interesting hook ups among the cast. How come they never show stuff like that? Now that would be interesting!

Jesus I laughed so hard at that I thought I was going to pop a blood vessel. Ive been walking around all day turning my head and sayng "Decadence" at work. Everyone thinks im nuts. But what they don't know is im one funny motherf'er.

I've been walking around saying "LAAAMMMBOOOOGIIINI!!!" all day.

B-side, that is why you are smooth as silk.

You're just green with envy. Or perhaps, green with envy? No, green with envy.

Quite possibly the most preposterous thing I've ever seen on TV. Brilliant the way the each has a completely unique but equally ridiculous delivery. Hmmm, so hard to pick a favourite they're all good. Decadence and Lamborghini are good, but I think I'll have to go with Passion.

"Lam-Bur-GEEN-EE, Inn-VEE,
Press-stage"
and the chick who does, "Passion" attempts a Philbrow...

It's taunting me...Ivette the spicy latina on the banner...how wonderful to hear HER say, "Power, envy,prestige..."

Didn't Chris poo-poo Markus' Smooth as Silk suggestion? Well, isn't Green With Envy also a cliche?

They could stand to hire a parallelism consultant.
noun. noun. noun. noun. noun. noun. ADJECTIVE. noun.
Silly hos.

Can't wait for this recap! I just thought is was corny as hell when I saw it, but that clip is so...
Funny.
Giggle-driven.
Ridiculous.
Entertaining.
Laughable.
TVgasm.

#13, hm, good point. And actually they have the same problem the guys did with some of those words, obviously, Inn-vee. Like what do they refer to? And ego-driven is just plain dumb.
I've changed my mind, Decadanccccce, makes me laugh every time.

I like how the one chick kind of chokes on Lamborghini.
How could you come up with that and not immediately know you're going to look like a total a-hole?

Amen, m_ruv (#13), "Ego-driven!" stood out like a sore thumb. Personally, I thought the surly "Adrenaline!" was a hoot.
I can't be bothered to look up the lame actual team names right now, so I'll just say that while Omega Team [the women] didn't hit one out of the park by any means (witness the uproarious pre-video presentation immortalized in the TVgasm Quicktime clip), Team Strike Force, or maybe, given the results , I should say Team Discovery Channel [the men], definitely dropped the ball. I don't think their video even had an interior shot of the car; don't they know from "Prestige!" and "Decadence!"?. And when they talked about morphing the old model into the new, I sort of figured the old one would be a gracious ragtop roadster with a running board and maybe a hand-crank: to my unschooled eyes, the older model looked like it was from the 90's. I was a little surprised, because the teams that bother to take a meeting with the client to figure out what they actually want generally rule these sorts of Apprentice tasks.

I think that each of those traits sums up each of the Candidates perfectly.
Kristi = Envy (envious of the other teamates, especially envious of Marshawns exemption)
Toral = Passion (she seems passionate even though she's probably gonna be the bitch sometime this season)
Marshawn = Ego Driven (She has a very big ego)
Alla = Power (she was the one who really took charge in the task)
Jennifer M = Lamborghini (only reason why she is on the show is because Trump thinks she is so beautiful. Plus she sounded like a man when she said lamborghini)
Rebecca = Adrenaline (shes the type thats very active in what she does, I think she can hold it together even with the broken ankle)
Jennifer W = Prestige (her profile is somewhat prestigous)
Felisha = Decadence (I see her lasting long, i dunno why)
Markus = Smooth as Silk (the nonsensical words run sooo fast and smoothly out of his mouth)
Mark = small i (has such a small eye, that he doesn't know how to make effective ad posters)

Could someone tell me what was SO great about the girls' ad? I thought those questions were stupid. A Lamborghini owner shouldn't have to answer those questions.
19 of 26 | Posted by suebee | Posted on October 1, 2005 5:33 PM
The womens' ad was just as bad as the mens' ad. Neither one was up to snuff. Yes, let's have a seizure-inducing blipvert of Lambo pictures.
If i did the ladies' ad, I would have not moved the text from off-screen to left. THat just reeks of a bad Powerpoint presentation.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I watched the episode, and I didn't laugh then, it was more cringing. But watching this isolated segment is pure hilarity. Especially that last chick that says "Lamborghini" like she wants to rip your face off and feast on your flesh. Yay!
21 of 26 | Posted by Kathryn | Posted on October 1, 2005 11:14 PM
Tough call, but the best one has got to be LAMBOURGHINI. She says the first part of the word fine, but around "GHINI" she gets this look on her face like she just smelled a fart or she's swallowing her own tongue or something. It manifests itself into a very nice grimance.
Honourable mention to PASSION!!! O_O
22 of 26 | Posted by Taylor | Posted on October 2, 2005 2:29 AM
I have to say my favorite was 'Envy'. She sounds like a redneck version of Special Ed from Crank Yankers. It was the whole 'EN' part that sounds out of place and pretty butch.
23 of 26 | Posted by boondocksaint | Posted on October 2, 2005 11:31 AM
The funniest one for me has to be 'Ego Driven', hands down. Watch how hard Marshawn tries not to laugh after delivering her line.
Love the swivel head on 'Decadence' and the forceful 'Passion'.
ha!

The chick that said passion looks angry and constipated. I guess I would be angry too, if I was constipated.
They all should of said nasty words instead:
Slut
Whore
Cunt
Bitch
Anal Sex
Twat
CockSucker
Assmuncher
Pussy
Now that would of been a commercial! TVgasm should take the nasty words from the Pat OBrien tapes and lay them over the apprentice girls video...maybe even throw in a few Rosie the Retard words too....

^ Wow, that, like, wasn't even remotely funny. Good job, idiot.
