Tonight, on the finale of The Shitty: Adam confronts Erin at work (regarding Allie); both Olivia and Whit are up for a great job opportunity in London; Olivia sucks throughout (what else could we expect); Whit seeks advice from a certain California lady; and the unthinkable happens: Whit totally grows a pair.
Whit? Is this really you? Cuz this is the most you've ever spoken ever.
Yeah, so there's this recap before the ep starts of what went down this season, and Whit says that her job working for a top designer was "harder than I thought." And they seriously show a part where DVF herself says, "Switch," and Whit says, "Switch the jackets?" Damn, that IS hard! All that switching of jackets . . . my head is spinning. You know, from the hashish. More recapping of Olivia taking credit, Allie/Adam bullshit, Jay bullshit. You guys, it's the last episode! I have the full range of emotions. I'm happy, I'm sad . . . and I guess that's it.
Laura Ingalls or Penny Lane?!?! I'm about to have an aneurism, here!
At DVF, Betsy and Missy talk to Olivia and Whit about fashion week, and how the London team will be in NYC, and they'll be watching both of them to see who will be the liaison, and whoever wins gets a trip to London! Which would be incredible if neither Whit nor Olivia could already afford a trip over there in the first place. I'm not happy for them. I hate them. Credits. Give me them bright lights, long nights! I feel on top of the world! I'm so looking forward to not hearing that song for a good four months or so.
"I Lost Myself In Us." That's the title, and the dumbest thing I've heard since "you complete me." You know what would be better? "I Lost Myself in Your Pants." Or, "I Lost Myself On the Subway Because You Told Me to Change At Times Square and I Got On the "7" Instead of the "1" and Now I'm In Queens and I Think This Homeless Lady Wants to Sell Me Some Smack. Is $75 a Good Price For Smack? I Don't Know. Maybe I Should Haggle. Oh, Wait, It's Not Smack. It's Poo." Over at One Management, Adam walks in to talk to Erin. Yeowza. This can only turn ugly. And awesome.
Erin acts like it's a big deal that Adam interrupted her work, but we all know she was totally on Facebook filling out that 25 Random Things About Me thing. Adam's trying to grow facial hair. Good luck with that. Adam lays into Erin about her calling Allie and talkin' shit (true shit, though) about Adam hanging out with girls and stuff, and he's all, "how many guys do you date at a time?" Jerk! Erin says his actions are inappropriate. Word. Suffice to say they don't end on good terms.
A couple months of no shaving and you'll be a regular McGyver, there, stud.
Back at DVF, Betsy tells Olivia and Whit about the accessories and clothes and crap they'll need to pull for the show. I think Betsy is trying to cultivate an accent. It's off-putting. Whit tells Olivia about the Jay stuff and Olivia says that she should focus on work instead of personal life. And don't bring the Jay sitch into the workplace because that's "incredibly immature." Yeah, it's like a total multipletude of global . . . global . . . ness. Man, I can't stand Olivia.
Whit goes home, picks up the phone and dials, and guess who answers? LC!!! LC asks what's wrong and when Whit says she's down, LC's all, what about Jay? Thank god DiVello gave her the lowdown on what happened this season on The City before he told her to be in her office at People's Revolution at a specific time so that Whit could call her and they could film it. Because, if this happened during a hiatus of The Hills, then why would LC still have cameras on her? Huh? Riddle me that! Whit tells LC about what happened with Jay and how maybe moving to NYC was a mistake. Aw, Whit!
Well you can move back to LA then cuz my spot's gonna be open soon. F this noise!

I can't believe Whitney didn't say anything. What kind of a person just sits back and lets someone else take credit for their work. Olivia would of got a "I'm sorry Honey, you're mistaken, I pulled the look" in front of god and everybody like 3 episodes ago!!! I used to love Whitney and now I can't help but see her as weak and lame. I guess Whits thinking about the long run and eventually the folks at DVF will see that she was the one that pulled the look. Anyway, sorry I just had to vent. Great recap.

If Allie is a working model (as she claimed, to justify her apparent anorexia), why is she mooching off of everyone? Why doesn't she get her own apartment? Whitney has a great one and she doesn't even work! Does a reality show star make more than a working model in NY?

And Olivia totally lied on the Aftershow a couple of weeks ago when she said she gave Whitney credit. Whitney finally called her out and I'm so glad!

I don't remember MacGyver having a mustache. Now Magnum, he had a big, thick, bushy one. Adam probably doesn't have that much hair on his entire body, including his head.
'toad, I think you are amazing for making this boring-ass show funny. If I had to recap it, I'm sure the recap would be four pages of zzzzzzz's.

Does Olivia not realize that this was all filmed? There is proof positive that she didn't pull the look. All Whitney has to tell her is, "B*tch, it's on film."

Hmm, my People magazine recently told me that Jay Whateverhislastnameis and Whitney Port had "split." Shocking. Oh wait, no it's not. Because Jay had been hired for the show, and of course it's perfecty convenient that they "break up" in the last episode so it wouldn't be odd that they all of a sudden weren't together in real life. Except that they had never actually been together in real life.

Wow, "recently?" Did the people at People even watch the show? Cuz, Jay and Whit kinda broke things off like a freaking month ago.
I just saw an ad in the local free paper (the Chicago RedEye), that Jay is going to be in town. Just Jay, not Tamaramalamadingdong. For what, I have no idea. The ad was hella vague. Am I going? Hell no. Unless Flipit wants to pay for it...

Ah, I stand corrected. Further research has shown that Tamarama will indeed be playing. In my defense, the RedEye ad said nothing about the band, just the after-party with Jay. Apparently money goes to breast cancer or something. I already have plans, so I can't go. And I don't have a digital camera OR a camera phone, so I couldn't document it. But if YOU want to go, there's info in the forums. Peace.
