I agree that he intensity with which Brody said he knew it was Spiedi was made him look particuarly hot - this in spite of the fact that I still think he originally got involved with Lauren/this show for his own gain, as we all know Spencer did, and continues to do. It just comes off better from Brody b/c he's not a total prick. BTW, are we ever going to see the "Brody kissed Whitney" segment that was in the season opener promo? When I first saw that, all I could think was, why is it ok for Whit, but no way in hell was it ok for Bunney? Also, how quickly we forget, Ting, that we saw the laid-back side of Whit just a few weeks ago. All in all, a good recap. My favorite line :"We knew, like we know about O.J., but now we really really know." However, like mattypopo, I would have liked to have the last Speidi scene to have been recapped a little more literally.

Despite the fact that Brody has been friends with Spencer since childhood, I think he's a great guy. Did he have ulterior motives when he first wooed Lauren? Probably, but I'm inclined to believe that the ulterior motives had more to do with Spencer being his manager at that time and Brody not being averse to the idea of getting to know that hot chick from The Hills.

I bet it was Spencer who spread the rumors at the time, and Brody and he were still friends, and Brody knew about it and just didn't do anything about it. And I think Heidi might not have had anything to do with it initially, but found out about it later on when Lauren and her weren't talking, so she didn't do anything about it either.
