This week on The Unusuals, a seemingly innocent favor sends Detective Casey Schraeger on a tough mission, both professionally and personally, and it pulls in everyone at the station.

Eric Delahoy and Leo Banks are running after a dude in full band gear ala Burt from Marry Poppins. (Although the clothing is circa 1993 Nirvana grunge flannel.) Delahoy stops in front of a deli with fruit displayed outside. He grabs an apple, takes aim and throws. He nails his suspect and falls over onto a parked car with the momentum.

Dispatch says a body in the park summarizes her last relationship.
Alvarez walks into the station with a woman who is psyching him up to solve cases, because he's so awesome. We find out as he introduces her to Casey that this is his wife Nicole who works with the DA's office. (A lawyer. That explains it!) Alvarez walks away leaving us to find out out Casey and Nicole know each other from school.
They call each other "Hag" and "Trollop." (Because this hasn't been done before on the show in epsiode one. It's like the Frank Frank thing where the writers have the attention span of goldish and just keep repeating the same patterns.) Schrager threatens to tattle to Eddie that Nicole was a lesbian in 8th grade. (Again, lame, who cares if someone was gay for a millisecond? Or is even gay for real? What a threat!) Schraeger says she just worked a double and walks away, not want to get into another PMS fight.

Brown sends Alvarez on a call for a hit and run, the victim is at St. Vicent's. (I thought this was the homicide unit. Why are they investigating this case when the guy didn't die?) Delahoy walks in with his grungerrifc superband camp suspect. He is eating the apple he threw at the suspect. His suspect complains that his head hurts and asks not to be locked up because he can help them. He says he knows about a store where you go for supplies if you want to kill someone and dispose of the body. He gives Banks the address.

Schraeger arrives home and Davis is there at her apartment waiting for her. He says her neighbor let him in. He's there because another one of his clients is in trouble with the law. His client was drunk and accidentally peed on an officer's shoe and now he's being charged with disorderly conduct. Schraeger isn't impressed and insults Davis's rich clients. Davis agrees the guy is rich but he's a nice guy. Schraeager isn't impressed and just wants to go to bed. Davis says it's not fair that he really should just get a ticket instead of being put in jail. Casey finally agrees to see the guy, if she gets "any whiff of entitlement" she won't continue. (Why doesn't she just give all the money to charity and be done with it all if she hates money so much? I guess that would negate half the plot, though.)

Jump to Schraeger questioning Davis's client. He's handcuffed to a radiator for no reason I understand. He says there was line for bathroom, he didn't want to wait, so he went to the alley and someone tapped him on shoulder. He pleads with her that it was a mistake. nothing happened, he's lost his jacket and his shoes. Schraeger with her big heart and naivety in the face of police work agrees to go and talk to his arresting officer.
Finally, a typical fat, scarred cop! No more of these pretty people! Please! The officer says no, that the suspect was in his face and resisting arrest. He's mad because the guy peed on the only shoes he owns that help his back. He's sick of rich people getting away with things.

Alvarez visits his hit and run victim in the hospital. The victim says that he was crossing the street around 2 am. when out of nowhere came a silver car, which hit him and broke his leg in 4 places and shredding his colon. He's upset because he's going to miss his custody hearing the next day and he might lose his kids. Alvarez says "Eddie Alvarez will catch this guy." The victim is not impressed with Alvarez talking in the third person. Alvarez persists by giving the victim his personal number. (I almost thought they were dropping the 3rd person thing and trying to make him normal with a kinda hot wife who actually wanted to bang him....Nevermind that's not normal. Well in TV land.)
