I'm sorry, that picture of Regis is just too scary. I never watch Dick's 'Rockin' New Year's Eve, anyway. I make it a habit not to watch old guys who have forever associated themselves with genetalia.

Why is it that there are never any countdowns on for the central time zone? The only show to do a countdown for us was Conan O'Brien and next year he won't be able to because New Years Eve will be a Saturday. That is just something that has bothered me as long as I can remember. It's hard to get excited about 11:00pm year after year.
And I must say that I would much rather watch Regis than Ryan Seacrest or MTV's new years eve bash any day. There need to be more choices on TV for New Years Eve next year.
Oh great, now you all know I was sitting at home like a loser watching Late Night With Conan O'Brien at the stroke of midnight. I should probably have kept that to myself. Actually, the really sad thing is I will probably be doing the same thing in two years when I am 21. I need to get a life.
Happy New Year Everyone!

Lisa, what's that you said? You TAPED Conan while you were out partying, and that's how you know he did a Central Time Zone countdown? Oh...that's what I thought you said. I hope you had a blast tearing the town up! :)
A very belated Happy New Year to the folks at TVgasm, who put forth such divine smartassery for the masses. Much thanks!

I totally understand your pain, Lisa. Although I love Central Time (I wouldn't be able to watch ER otherwise), I can't seem to get excited at only 11.
*MUCH LOVE, CONAN*

Ha - I actually did record several New Year's countdowns and watched them the next day while I was cleaning. Yep, lame. Yep, I admit it and take the time to write about it. Oh well.
