It's a TVgasm Halloween

Halloween is a wonderful time. As a kid, you got to trick or treat and get free candy. When you grew older, you got to vandalize and steal candy from the kids who would trick or treat. Now, as adults, it makes a perfect opportunity to get sloshed and play dress up without bothering anybody at all. Each year, some of the TVgasm staffers take this time to get into the spirit. (For anybody who is reading this and was at that party in Santa Monica last year, I am NOT drinking any 151, so don't expect to see me pole dancing on a stop sign any time soon.) Last year, at the West Hollywood Costume Carnival, we bumped into Bobby Trendy, where B-Side had the unfortunate privilege of capturing a picture of him bare-assed. But I ramble, so let's get on to the real business.

Last year, two TVgasm readers sent in a picture of themselves dressed as the Bowling Moms from the Amazing Race. (As is customary, they now have their own blog. Check it out, it's not bad.) For their originality and creativity, the won the unofficial TVgasm costume contest. This year, I thought that I would encourage some reader participation this year by offering an official costume contest.

Interested? Find out more about the contest after the jump.

Like most of the reader contests we have, the rules are pretty simple. Send in a picture of your television-themed Halloween costume to contests@tvgasm.com. We will take submissions until November 1st. After a few days of deliberations, the TVgasm staff will pick a winner, who will have their choice of merchandise from the TVgasm store and win the admiration of others for years to come. The only real restriction is that you have to be 18 years old to enter, although if you have adorable children who want to enter, feel free to dress them up and have them win the prize.

We know that you can do it, and here are some examples for inspiration:

British:

The guy in the Dangle costume might look like a better candidate to dress up as Junior. But then, how could one enjoy the shorts?

Thanks for the shoutout!

P.S. J-Unit, you look hot in that police uniform ;)
