Dear Gasmii,
For those of you that have spent valuable hours, days, and weeks wondering if abusive public urination can now be considered passé, this week's episode of The Ultimate Fighter has officially confirmed the cliché status of peeing as a form of revenge. Now that a sparkly golden rain has become a mundane pastime on the show, we can only wonder what cultural gems The Ultimate Fighter will explore next. Will Big Daddy resort to snuff films or fetish porn to satisfy the ratings gods?

If nothing else, maybe Big Daddy will buy them real cheerleading outfits for next season.
Once again, it's time to find out what our boychiks have been up to, so pull your shades, lock your doors, and take the leap...
We start this week with a recap of Efrain's and Shane's epic battle that ended with Efrain submitting Shane.

In case you forgot about Efrain's crotch crunching prowess
Prompting Marilyn to fall over the fence to defend the honor of his bitch...

...and make the camera guy's day.
But, before Marilyn can further humiliate himself, a solid wall of muscle stops him.

This is like finding Waldo
Last week left the viewing public rushing to their computers to frantically type out their collective indignation at Marilyn's behavior on multitudes of MMA forums. Almost universally, viewers predicted that this week would open with Dana kicking Marilyn off the show. And, now, that the moment has finally arrived, I'm holding my breath and crossing my fingers. Is Marilyn kicked out of the UFC back to his Kentucky trailer? Is he booted out of the house, flogged and beaten to a bloody pulp? Nope, none of the above. Big Daddy doesn't even acknowledge him as he walks by. In fact, his only response is to comment to the gentlemen seated on his right that, if Keith Kezar, the Nevada Gaming Official, had been present, Marilyn would probably have lost his license. I have one word for you Big Daddy, WEAK!! Seriously, this has got to be the lamest response I've ever seen from an authority figure. In fact, Mini Big Nog is the only official person present that looks pissed. I think Mini Big Nog needs to take Marilyn to Brazil for a couple months to school him.
Marilyn interviews that he "can go from chill to kill, real fast". How nice. While most of us work hard to develop character traits such as patience, temperance, and honesty, Marilyn is working hard to develop those important qualities that matter most when you're trying to get a doctor to prescribe large amounts of lithium.

"Some people in the house think I have a little bit of an anger problem."
Personally, I'm thinking that a little bit of an anger problem could better be described as violently unstable.
Meanwhile, Efrain is handling himself really well. I have to say that this kid has some impressive self-control. He even goes to hug Marilyn which is pretty funny because Marilyn would probably rather be hugged by RuPaul.
Marilyn apologizes to Frankie and I can only hope that Frankie has more strength in his submissions than his ability to discipline his team. Instead of addressing the broader implications of disrespect to the red team, the sport in general, and Efrain in particular, Frankie just kind of whines that Marilyn made him look bad. I'd like to say poor Frankie, but, really, poor viewers. This is like the most anti-climatic slapdown ever. So, to spice it up a bit here's my idea of what should have happened:

You've got an anger problem? I'll show you an anger problem and call me, Sir!
Back at the house, the housemates, once again, discuss Marilyn's antics. Shane Primm lounges in the hot tub, while he explains to Marilyn that, even though they're friends, he really wanted to punch Marilyn when he jumped the fence. For his part, Marilyn doesn't seem to grasp why Shane might have been upset. In his usual mature, caring, manner, Marilyn thoughtfully explains that, if he loses his fight, he'll be in the house drunk every night, and the rest of the house is going to have to put up with him. Because the idea of supporting the other fighters, or even just his teammates is a concept that is way too complex for him.

Disrespect? I don't get it.

Great recap - not so great show.
The show is becoming a train wreck.
The main reason they should keep the show on is so that you can recap it.
Other than that, I can just flip on the channel with 8-15 minutes left of the show and wait a day or three and read the recap.

Love your recaps. Very disappointed in the show, Dana and "coach" Mir.
Dana spent so much time salvaging the image of UFC - and now he seems to be letting it be pissed away again (literally).
One theory on Junie's behavior - there is an area at the front of the braid that handles impulse control. It can be slow to develop and in some people it just doesn't. I'm guessing a brain scan would show little activity in that part of Junie's brain.
Junie is unlikely to change in the immediate future - especially if people like Dana and Mir continue to enable him.
Son of Shrek - LOL.

I wanted Shane to win too, but had a bad feeling when he made the remark about anyone can beat anyone on a given day.
No matter how you interpret that, I think it indicated he was thinking about losing... and he didn't go into the fight with the proper attitude.
At least he seemed to have a good attidutde after. He'll learn from it, and keep working and getting better.
And, win or lose, Elliott will still be a jerk.

Great Recap!!
OMG, who are these people. Who lives like this. My three year old wouldn't think of going on somebodies bed. And that coach Frankie is such a loser. I feel so bad for the nice boys in the house.
Thanks for making me laugh. Loved the son of shrek, too.

Ugh, this season is hard to watch. You know, I used to be a big fan of Frank Mir. He was the heavyweight champion and was exciting to watch. Then he was in a horrible motorcycle accident that almost killed him. He made a comeback that has had it's ups and downs and is finally in a position to climb back to the top of the mountain. Then he had to go and show his true colors as a coach on this show. Am I a fan now? Not so much. Minotauro is going to kill him. Seriously though. I don't think anyone who truly follows the UFC thinks Mir has a snowball's chance to beat Nog.

jujitsuking -
You spelled jiu jitsu wrong in your name. Even if you're trying to type it in it's japanese form, "jujutsu", you still fail.
Nogueira's jui jitsu is better, his striking is most definitely better, he has better cardio and he's universally known for how much damage he can take. Mir's striking is sloppy, his cardio is horrible and he can't take a punch.
Oh, and I find it laughable that you say you can't believe people read this stuff. You read it.

Hi Guys,
Thanks so much for taking the time to post your thoughts, it really makes my day to read your posts:)
Bmcl:I'm hoping that the show gets better as the interest in the actual "real" fights ramps up.
Fire@will: Wow, I wonder if you're right about Junie, but, if that were the case, I have to say it shows horrifically poor judgment to train him to hurt people. I think you're right about Shane, poor baby, but the rumor is that he'll be back fighting when somebody gets pulled due to injure.
Rosesarered: Hearts and flowers, I agree who lives like these guys?
HeyBuddy: I adore you!!! You give me hope that I'll get to see Nog kick Frank Mir's tuchus, and I would so love to see that.
Jujitsuking: Thank you for reading :)
UFCfan: I'm glad you liked the Shrek Screencap. You might explore some of the other blogs on the site, they're pretty funny and it's always good to laugh.
Hugs,
Yenta

UFCFan: it's a slam dunk. Minotauro FTW. I don't bet on fights, and I certainly wouldn't want others betting on fights based on my opinions, but if there was ever a fight I was certain of it's this one.
Yenta: Thanks! I love reading your recaps - almost more than I like watching the show. Now that I think about it, I like it more than the show. I can only stomache the actual fights.
Krazy has been one of the few fighters on this show who seemed like he was somewhat normal, but his insistence on pullings his childish parnks like of sours him to me. I know they are left with pretty much nothing to do in the house save train and drink copious amounts of alcohol, but come on! Freezing other dudes' underware? Putting itching powder in beds and clothes? Lame.

Just wanted you to know, Yenta and Rosesarered, that you are not the only ladies watching the show and reading this blog! Yay!! Girls Rule! :) If you want to see a really good MMA fight, check out Gina Carano on EliteXC - not only is she a hell of a fighter, but she's gorgeous to boot!
I also think that Nog is going to kick Frankie Mir's lazy ass. I think the reason Frankie gave Nog that attitude is because he's jealous of all the fun (?) the boys are having while he has to be the "grown up" coach. LOL! And Dana IS the biggest ratings whore ever - no doubt about it.
