2008 MTV Movie Awards Set Visit With Nads

Hey Gasmii, I got to visit the set of the 2008 MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City yesterday and took a bunch of pictures for you guys to see!

The first stop I made was the gifting suite. Um, all I have to say is I want everything on that table that was set up. There were so many things that are being given away, but I thought the coolest and funniest was the celebs get a gift certificate for their own red carpet and backdrop so they can play celebrity everyday at their house/party/work, etc…

Other things they got were the new Rock Band for Wii (that comes out late June), a Sports Club L.A./N.Y. year-long membership, a three-day stay at the Palmer hotels in Costa Rica, 10 cases of Dos Equis beer, a Gucci watch, 2 pairs of Pucci sunglasses, 2 Dooney and Bourke bags, Lee Angel jewelery, Hurley Surf Lessons, Personalized Stationary, 2 pairs of Habitual Jeans, 3 pairs of custom Vans, WE travel kit, Pulse Smart Pen (records what you’re writing), a year-long pass to any AMC movie theater, a Gypsy 05 shirt, and many others that were just too long to write!

Not everyone gets the MTV gifts, only presenters, performers and winners…so it’s pretty exclusive.

Then, I went on to the stage where I got to see the seating charts for the awards show. Everything looked standard except for Heidi Montag’s seat. She’s not sitting with the rest of The Hills cast (surprise)…instead they have her seated near Nick Nolte (strange choice)…Lindsay Lohan (wonder who she’s taking) is sitting near Mike Myers (when he’s not hosting), and Sarah Jessica Parker is sitting in front of Will Ferrell. And, that’s the basic rundown of the seats, so look for your favorite celebs on Sunday.

The 2008 MTV Movie Awards is taped live this Sunday June 1st, at 8/7c on MTV. Unfortunately, I won’t be at this event because I’m working on another show that night, but I’m sure it will be a blast and we can all gossip about it on Monday morning.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.
