30 Rock: Kim Kardashian? Really?

Did you watch 30 Rock‘s Live episode last night? I have one question…How the hell did the East Coast get so lucky to get a Paul McCartney walk-on, while the West Coast got stuck with Kim K? It’s not fair! We didn’t do anything to get punished, yet they punished us with Grande Kardashian.

30 Rock, I’m very disappointed in you. You gave us a funny episode last night, but keep Kim off my screen! I felt like I was screen raped–I didn’t ask for it, yet you gave it to me. No doesn’t mean yes! You hear me? No more Kim!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

So glad I got the East Coast version, sorry you were stuck with the media whore.

Just to show how far E! is up the Khardasians’ ample rear, I saw an eonline article on my news feed app about this. The entire thing covered Kim’s appearance in detail, down to her one awesome line. Then the last sentence of the article was like, “Oh yeah, and Jon Hamm and Paul McCartney were there, too.”

Otherwise, it was a really great episode and I laughed a lot. I think it may have even been better than their first live episode.

Haven’t watched either episode yet, but I did watch the 30 Rock cast play charades on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Hi-LAR-ious! Jane Krakowski had “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” as a clue, and she acted it out by trying to demonstate having an enormous ass. I think the clips are on Hulu if anybody want to check them out. After watching, I truly do believe that if Tiny Fey and Alec Baldwin continue to work together much longer they will a) morph into a single (androgynous and devastatingly witty) human being, and b) will rule the world.

EW! I am sorry too! The Paul walk on was great. They actually had a TON of great guests on last night.

I did read an article that said the Kim K. obsession will die down in about a year…

Did anyone notice in the episode from last week that Traci called Jenna, Jane?!?!?! I thought my mind was playing tricks on me but I rewound it a few times just to make sure. I guess being an analyst at work has filtered into me being an analyst at home. That or I am just a weirdo. Take your pick.

Not a weirdo! But right before he said it his line was “I never make a mistake” (or something like that) so I think it was intentional?
