Some of the 90210 spin-off characters have been revealed. The new spin-off will focus on the Mills family who is also from the Midwest, and Veronica Mars creator, Rob Thomas said, “There is a plan for bringing back one of the cast members…we haven’t talked to any of them.” This is very exciting news. I also read that the cast will be more racially diverse, which will be more true to reality considering half of the Beverly Hills population is Middle-Eastern.

These are the characters revealed in Variety:

-Silver, aka Daphne Silver, a wannabe socialite who hosts her own YouTube series. She becomes good pals with Annie and has a crush on Dixon (as well as the only Jewish girl at BevHills High with a black boyfriend — another hint that producers are considering making Dixon’s character non-white).

-Max Silver, Daphne’s 24-year-old brother, is a working man who manages the family movie theater at the Century City Mall (the new show’s version of the Peach Pit, perhaps?) He seems forever on the verge of a nervous breakdown and appears to be harboring some secrets.

-Navid Shirazi produces the high school’s student-run video newscast and is of Middle Eastern descent. He’s the consummate high school politician.
Ethan Ward is a likable jock who falls out of favor with the “in” crowd and ends up hanging with the “90210″ crew.

-Naomi Bennett is Ethan’s super-hot, ultra-rich ex-girlfriend. She appears to be a brat but will end up having more layers.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Is the Silver character related to the David Silver character in the original show?

Yeah, it’s derived from David Silver. They’re not sure which original cast member is coming back yet. I know that Tori really wants to be on it, and she does have dibs b/c of her old pops that left her nothing in the will. Poor Tori.

Watch it will probably be Nat from the Peach Pit. lol.
