ABC has officially picked up Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Grey’s Anatomy and Castle, Modern Family, The Middle and Suburgatory. Series still waiting for pickups are Body of Proof, Last Man Standing, Private Practice, Last Man Standing and Don’t Trust The B—-, Missing, Scandal, Happy Endings and GCB. And on the unscripted side Dancing With The Stars, Shark Tank and The Bachelor have all gotten pickups. 

So there it is everyone! They’ll be announcing more soon, so standby…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    The only ABC shows I really care about is Happy Endings and Cougar Town. I’m really glad that Modern Family and The Middle were renewed but am anxious to hear about the other two.

    Don’t Trust the B has rounded out my Wednesday nights quite nicely, hopefully it gets renewed. Its ratings are pretty much the same as Suburgatory’s though, so I’m sure it will.

    I love Happy Endings! Wait…that came out wrong. Either way it so needs to get picked up. And ABC needs to spend a few ad dollars promoting it so others can find out when it’s and see just how hilarious it is.

    skychickie…..where did you read that? I haven’t seen a decision yet. :(

    I know this is NBC and not ABC, but they just renewed Parks & Rec for a full 22 – not the shortened goodbye kiss of 13 episodes. YAY! :)

    @sarcasatire – HAHAHAHA, I just read your Community post. New Girl is absotootly fabulous! It is SO funny. It’s actually my #2 behind Happy Endings. I think in the beginning they were banking on that “adorkable” tag with Zooey, but it quickly became an awesome and unbelievably funny ensemble laugh fest. (much like HE). HE is still my #1, but New Girl is a CLOSE second. You should DEF catch up with it. :D

    I’m telling YOU….watch EVERY episode (because you have to get the nuances of each character..I’m being serious). But you will find that it is an AWESOME ensemble show and QUITE hilarious. You can take me to court if I lead you astray. It is SO funny!
    BITCH….it’s 5:30!!!!!!

    @Nikki, yes, I watched maybe two or three episodes, including the pilot. But then I stopped watching TV on Tues for some reason..weird, I know, lol.

    I’m so glad Nads does these posts because since comedy shows aren’t recapped (a joke about a joke would be a bit much, lol) we Gasmii don’t get to chat too often about sitcoms. And with so many threatnening cancellation, we need to put the word out as much as possible about how great they are. Look at me, I’m New Girl converted! :)

    IT’S.JUST.SO.FUNNY.
    It’s NO Happy Endings…let’s just make that clear….but it IS my #2. :P
    and YES, why DOESN’T TvGasm do comedies?! It’s all making fun of dramas or reality tv. I guess the good shows are too good to snark on.
    I have to say though….some of these readers/viewers/commenters are WAY to harsh on the recappers. BOOOO!
    Recapping is a hard job!
    I guess I would like to talk about the shows that are awesome……so maybe they should make a sub-section of SHOWS WE LOVE. Not to snark so much, but to celebrate the fan-love…..?……Flipit????? Maybe??

    I am emailing TBS RIGHT NOW……you guys do the same. They bought Cougar Town (YAY!!!!!!!)….let’s get them to buy ALL fan faves and kick the Big 3′s ASS!!

    I think GCB should’ve come along after everyone was feeling a void by the end of Desperate Housewives. And should’ve also included a murder in it’s pilot episode. Formulaic, maybe. But, if it aint broke…

    @Nikki: “Shows We Love” is a good title. Can’t wait for the forums! Especially since without Chooch doesn’t exist. She’s my Big Brother guru.

    I ACTUALLY said on some other post, that not only is GCB funny, but shouldn’t it get DH viewership? HELLO? Network Execs ARE MORONS. WTF????

    @Nikki: Yes, they are morons. They should’ve made the DH finale the GCB lead-in. Or, since the finale is 2-hrs..do a 1 hr bonus episode and let that lead-in GCB. Both should not have been on the air at the same time. The DH crew just weren’t ready to move on to something new…with reason, it’s still on the air!

    I would love for BB to be on non-stop, but how would i get things done? Chooch and crew recap the 24 hr web links and the Showtime BB After Dark…and reading about things we don’t see isjust asaddictive as watching the edited show. Messed with my time management skills, lol.

    Oh good lawd, you’re preaching to the choir. I get BBAD, but I usually wait until it’s the final 5. I SERIOUSLY have gone to sleep watching it and woken up with a hot-ass laptop on my face with the feed timed-out. I love BB SO much, hahaha
