Lots of Idol rumors floating around…The latest is that Adam Lambert is going to be a judge on American Idol. Yeah, I said ADAM LAMBERT! How crazy is that? A source told E! News, ”They have been talking about Adam for over a month, He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end of the judges’ comments, he has a human touch, and they know they can’t go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show. People love him.”

The other rumors floating around are that Randy might not be part of the show next year. Which sounds insane…why would they wait THIS long to can him?? The source said, ”Randy is great, but he’s part of the old Idol. They want to keep the soul of the show but have a new look, and for that reason he may well not be part of the new line up.”

As for Steven–that one is up in the air.

Idol needs to do something, and fast because at this rate, music competition shows are popping up faster than the Duggars have babies. As for the Adam rumor…I doubt that’ll happen, but I’ve been wrong many times before.

**UPDATE** It was a rumor, but he told Rolling Stone that he’d love to do it if he were approached.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

He would definitely bring a cooler, younger persona to the show. I would love to see the back end of Jennifer and Randy. Nigel going is a bonus!

I think Adam Lambert has proved time and again that his strength lies not in his judgement and cool decision making, but in his singing. In other words,Adam,Just stand there and look pretty,OK?

What about Taylor Hicks? He has a unique perspective that he could bring to the show. Plus he is slated to wrap up his stint as Moses in the Youngstown, Ohio’s Little Lake Theater production of The 10 Commandments – The Musical so his calandar should be clear for Idol.

If they really wanted some wow factor with an Idol alumni, Nigel would break his piggy bank and make a serious run at Kelly Clarkson. Hell, you want ratings, try throwing some money at Jennifer Hudson too. Shoot, do a panel of successful to semi-successful people from the show, who would come off as actually knowing what they were talking about. Even if it was a one season deal it would get a bunch more eyeballs in front of TV’s.

Is it me or could he pass for Dave Navarro’s teenaged son?

If you really want people to come back-and you’d never get him-Ask Clay Aiken. He’s the one who really brought in the fans.-and by fans-I don’t mean 12-14 year old multi dialers who never actually buy anything .Season 2 ,the producers bet on Ruben, and Ruben’s fans celebrated and, stayed home in droves. Clay is special, and not in a short bus kind of a way.

I think they should have Melissa Gorga, Tammi Roman, and The Countess.
