adam lambert guest mentor idol

Adam Lambert is going to be guest mentoring Idol next week. I don’t know why Adam is guest mentoring??? Shouldn’t they get someone with more experience? I mean, I get the motivation behind having Adam, and how it can be inspiring because he’s shot up so quickly, but I don’t think he deserves that big mentor spot just yet. Miley was more fit to be a mentor over Adam (harsh, I know).

Anyway…that’s that.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Adam can advise them on marketing themselves and sticking out their tongues while screaming.

This show has become a complete joke.

“and how it can be inspiring because he’s shot up so quickly”

But he really hasn’t. His first two singles were total bombs, his album only hit the top 10 following a huge (and obvious) publicity stunt. Dude gets by on hype and nothing else.

At least Miley had an #1 album and sold out tours to her name lol

Shouldn’t the guy that won be the mentor? Adam lost so how would he be able to mentor them on winning American Idol? Look I like Adam, but what is he supposed to tell them when his own fame is so new and let’s face it, controversial: “And if you want free publicity, the best thing you can do is shove your guitarist’s head into your crotch; drives the conservative nutjobs wacko.” Not sure that’s the best information to be giving these guys, especially given the manhandling of poor Kris Allen 2.0 and Skara’s verbal harassment of Prettiness. Catty is so right.

I agree with Jenna– if you’re going to bring back a former Idol, at least bring back a winner. That seems like a big F.U. to Kris Allen, IMO.

I don’t get all the Miley Hate. Whether you hate her or think she’s annoying, at the end of the day she has a rather successful music career so essentially was qualified to mentor based on her performance experience and billboard topping sales.
I admit it, I’m a Miley fan… but even if I wasn’t… she still doesn’t suck that bad.
I mean Gwen Stefani got on the show a few seasons back and her performance blew buckets. I didn’t hear a lot of negative feedback on her and she was AWFUL.
Does seem odd that they aren’t bringing back an Idol winner though!
