elimination

Justice was served last night on Idol. Stefano got eliminated! It was only a matter of time before he got the boot, but I admit that I was so happy to see him go. The one thing that made me sad was seeing how emotional James got over his bestie getting booted. I love how James wears his heart on his sleeve. It’s so sweet. He’s made a fan out of me.

What did you think of the elimination? I think Jacob’s next, don’t you?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

My only disappointment from last night is that we didn’t get to see smug Scotty McCreepy get knocked down a peg with a seat on the stools. If this week’s cheesy and lazy performance didn’t earn him a bottom 3 seat I’m afraid he’ll never get one. PLEASE let it be Jacob next week!

I agree. The right person went home and one can only hope Jacob is the next one out. After that, it’ll get really hard. My Top 3 would be Scotty, Haley and James. James is really winning me over. Him being all upset over Stefano was really cute. And I was juuuuuust starting to warn up to Stefano. I wish Jacob would have gone home, but his time is limited too, so whatever.

My complaints right now are how god-awful-embarrassing those group performances are. They pale in comparison to the duets. I understand they want them to get their share of airtime, but including everyone makes the song terribly disharmonized and they SUCK and I HATE THEM!!

I am not sure if Dialidol.com is even still relevant – but if it is, Scotty is winning this thing easily!!! I have checked it each week and he is so far and above the other contestants – that it isn’t even a contest….I don’t see how he could lose it.

Bummed that Stefano won’t be here next week for Bruno Mars…that could have been good. I just cross my fingers that Jacob is gone next week – there is just no more room for his ever growing ego!!

JasonR – I agree w/you re: EVERYTHING! Please let Smuggy McSmarmy sit in the bottom three. He is such a cheeseball dork. And yes, I want Jacob…Mr. Histrionic himself..go home.

At this point, Snotty McCreepy can blow his nose (with a twang) and he’ll still win. It doesn’t matter that he’s not that great a singer (neither is James of course), because Idol is not about singing, it’s about presence. And as much as I hate McCreepy’s presence, the little girls seem to adore him. And Autotune will do the rest.

It’s too bad the producers aren’t giving Haley more exposure — they and the judges seem to be purposefully keeping her down, even though she really does have the best voice, all in all.

I love how Durbin has convinced himself he’s a rocker, when the guy can barely sing and seems to think we’re still in the earlyn 70s.
