Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Even though she was an addict, I was surprised when I read that she has died. I don’t know, I just can’t say “I saw it coming”. No matter how messed up a person is, death of someone always shocks me. So sad, R.I.P.
I agree with you, Mel. I just hope that she finds the peace in death that eluded her in life.
Even though this came as no surprise to me, when I saw the headline it made me sad. Sad for her wasted life and talent…sad for whatever pain brought her to such a low point painfully and slowly over the years.
And then I felt a bit hypocritical, because I’m one of thousands who have used her as a punchline in the past.
May she, as well as her friends and family, find peace.
@cattyfan – i share the same sentiments about using her as a punchline in the past.
it’s tragic.
I can’t really say I saw it coming either. I was hoping it was a self-destructive phase that she would come out if in the end. When she was in the Caribbean, she looked so at peace. Then she returned to London…
My heart goes out to her father. He did seem to really try and protect her from herself. So sad to have to bury your child.. All that potential, gone.
There were Pics of her on the internet last week..She was looking very healthy..wtf happened? Such an amazing talent..what a way to leave this world..smh
Texted Mom about it and she said …”maybe it’ll give Lohan a wake up call.” Which…word, Mom.
Wasn’t really a fan, but this still is very sad to me. And as far as her being/looking healthy recently, take it from a past addict:every relapse is worse than the one before. After a period of sobriety, you go, shall I say, “all out” when you relapse, often leading to an O.D. Not trying to make an assumption, though. That coulda not been what happened whatsoever. Either way-R.I.P. Amy
Indeed a tragedy. She was, all things considered, a talented voice.
I don’t mean any disrespect, but the reaction of myself and all my friends has been, “I’m shocked . . . but not that shocked.”
To be honest my reaction was as if someone I knew had terminal cancer. I truly thought to myself.. “I hope she has peace now”.. I wasn’t surprised. Just a bit sad. I was surprised that she was so young. I was under the impression she was in her 30′s.

Her death is sad both because she was so talented and fierce, and because it’s not much of a shock to anyone after all. She had a family who really seemed to care about her and wanted to help her too.
I never lose the feeling of shock when someone dies–not even when they were known for making high risk choices. So sad.
There have now been reports that she showed signs of life when the police arrived but died before the ambulance arrived. My question is, who found her? If she was at her home, who made the discovery and notified the police? I find it weird that none of this info was mentioned.
@mel I agree with that. You can see a death coming, but you can never pinpoint the exact time of it.
Reports are the night before she died she purchased cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, and ketamine. And she drank alcohol with it. That sounds more like suicide than an overdose.
Yikes.
I’m sure it wouldn’t be the first time she mixed drugs.
