Anderson Cooper Slams Star Jones

I guess Star Jones slammed Anderson Cooper for coming out–she thought he came out for a ratings boost…well, Ms. Star got told on Anderson Live. While co-hosting his show with guest host Miss Andy, Anderson said, “The only thing that did kind of annoy me — and actually it annoyed my mom, who brought it up to me — Star Jones of all people…I haven’t thought about Star Jones in I don’t know how long… Anyway, out of the blue, Star Jones said after I sent this email, Star Jones said this was a ratings ploy by me to boost ratings.” 

Then Miss Andy chimed in and made the point that when Anderson came out, he was on hiatus. Then Anderson said, “That’s why it so annoyed me. Because of all the ways to boost ratings, like if I was wanting to boost ratings, I would have waited to announce it on a very special episode, that would have been promo’d for weeks and weeks and there would have been commercials… But instead I was in Africa on assignment for 60 Minutes, I sent an email to a friend of mine who put it on a website. I gave no interviews about it, I never talked about it.” 

HA! I love Anderson so much. He’s right–he didn’t make a stink about it, he didn’t do any interviews–it was what it was. His sexual orientation doesn’t change who he is, and he certainly didn’t use it for publicity like some do. I’m so happy that Anderson spoke up about Star’s stupid comment. Star needs to SHUT HER MOUTH!

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder.     Ah yes, the Silver Fox…love him! It was great how he pointed out Stars pathetic-self, when she was begging for freebies for her stupid wedding. And lying about her gastric bypass. That bitch is the queen of wanting publicity. The Today show needs to find someone else to do that professionals segment that Star does – she has no credibility in my book.

    Anderson was awesome! He needs to get an invite to our Project Runway/Tim Gunn hot tub party.

    Star Jones is such a sad character.
    And she’s one to talk about ploys.
    Meanwhile, her entire wedding was a sham and a lie, just to get free shit and attention. Girl BYE.

    Like Anderson, I too have not thought about Star Jones for years. All her comments proved was that she’s dumb as a box of rocks. In general, people seem to love Anderson Cooper and either dislike or have forgotten her. Even if she did think his coming out was a ratings ploy, why say it? It’s gained her about two seconds of hate.

    Personally, I don’t think Anderson was bitchy in giving his opinion about her and again, she’s the one who involved her stupid self in something that was none of her business. Perhaps her divorce from her GAY husband (she’s the only one who believes her denials about that) has just made her (more) bitter.

    My only taste of Star Jones was when she was on Celebrity Apprentice. I had hoped never to see or hear from her again, and I think that is a sentiment shared by a good number of her castmates. Oh, well.
