   Has anyone else noticed how “similar” these shows are by way of “drama”?

   Jill and Bethenny. Teresa and Danielle. The DC cast and the Salahi’s. Tamra and Gretchen. Camille and Kyle. The same “story line” acted out with the similar cast of characters acting as backdrop. Team This One/Team That One.

   Let’s hope that Bravo runs out of cities since they have already run out of ideas. Each series carries the same narrative while each Reunion Show carries the same slugfest.

   One big bore.

   I have to respectuflly disagree. Each show has it’s own vibe…good or bad, and subtle difference…Atlanta touches on racism…DC on politics and power..while Beveryly Hills focuses on show business, conspicous consumption and that juicy “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane” subplot between Kyle and Kim…totally different head…

   As long as there are publicitiy grabbing, money grubbing ho’s looking for attention, Miss Andy will be there recruiting for future franchises : Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit, Boise….the sky’s the limit!

   Truthsquad, I hope you don’t really believe that. Miss Andy has a giant meat grinder thing is his Basement of Over-caffeinated Gay Horror, with a “Housewives Franchise” attachment on the front of it. (Remember Play-doh factories? Same idea.) He also has “Cooking Competition”, “Fashion Show”, and “Reunion Show” attachments. He brings the cast ‘o bitches into the basement where they walk into the meat grinder’s hopper a la Pink Floyd, Miss Andy throws in a handful of dirt from whatever city the show is set in, a pinch of oregano, and one of his own nose hairs, and then he works the crank (figuratively and literally). The drama paste that oozes out is already in the proper conceptual shape thanks to attachment, and it hardens into the new show.

   Kyle didn’t really want Camille on the show. But Bravo wasn’t satified to begin shooting until they had a celebrity wife on the cast. So Kyle (who was the first to sign on and had secured most of the cast), suggested Camille, whom she knew as her husband’s client. But I believe Camille..Kyle thought she was running this show. And she mentioned surprise that the crew would go all the way out to Hawaii to film. Which is why she asked, “Is Kelsey going to be there?”

   I so wish Bravo would break the fourth wall in this instance and let us hear the convo. Who cares if it was because they were talking about filming. We do know it’s a reality show, don’t we?

   @sarcas — how do you know that Kyle did not want Camille on the show?
   Also, the producer broke the fourth wall regarding this convo already. He said that the conversation wasn’t filmed (but oh how he wished it was) because it occurred as the ladies were leaving Las Vegas. He said that it is not financially feasible to tape 24 hours a day and who knew that such drama would happen as the ladies were leaving one another.

   I still do not like Camille. She is a bitch and a master at insults that she doesn’t quite say. All about plausible deniability this one. Must be the whore in her.

   Taylor posted her take on the finale and in it she blames Lisa for ‘making her’ confront Kim against Taylors better judgement. What a lying slag. She also said that *she* bought Kennedy a chihuahua that Kennedy is not allergic to. Taylor is such a control freak — I’m sure Russell had no idea that his gold digger would be such a raving bitch.

   What the hell happened to Camille’s left cheek? It looks like she was stung by a hornet.

   And look at the group photo. That’s some strong body language. Kim and Kyle are standing like they’ll burst into flames if they touch. Poor Kim looks like she’s trying to crawl under Lisa’s pit to avoid coming any closer to her horrible sister.

   I never noticed how tiny the Maloof is. She is tinier than Kim!

   I’m beginning to think that Kyle and Camille kind of deserve each other. I think they are both horrible. They are horrible in different ways, but still horrible.

   @ohralphie: on the producer’s blog, he said that Kyle was tthe first to sign on and brought along the people she wanted to film with, which didn’t include Camille. It wasn’t until the producers said they needed a celebrity wife did she suggest Camille. But trust me, it killed her to be told that she and her friends aren’t important enough to hold a show on their own.

   Regarding the convo, there has been conflicting reports. First they said it wasn’t taped. Then they say it was taped but unusable because they were discussing the filming schedule.

   I still maintain Kyle was inquiring about Camille filming in Hawaii with an air of judgement, which is why Cam says, “I can tell this is bothering you.”
   Kyle is a control freak and didn’t like that Camille had her own storyline and could possibly end up most well known of the cast. We all Kyle wanted that spot for herself.

    Camille always would be the best known castmate because her husband was on two enormously successful and long running shows. My god, he played Frasier for what? 20 years?

    I don’t know – that Kyle didn’t suggest Camille doesn’t show me that she didn’t want to film with her – it just shows that she wasn’t on her short list. On this one I have to agree with Kyle because Camille is a narcissist and just plain awful. For those that are feeling badly for Camille now, a question. Who would want to be a waiter/cashier/driver/chef/house manager/or any other person that would be considered a ‘little person’ in Camilles world? Anyone? I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be in a position of having to make that whore happy.

    Yes, but she represents the Beverly Hills bravo wanted Maccess to. They all have nannies, drivers, butlers, maids, etc. Some people said they hated Camille for having four nannies. It’s prolly a lot more common than we think. Many wealthy people have a nanny per child, as the children have separate schedules/needs, and they all have a nanny working every day. Of course, having one person work 7 days a week is slave labor. So she rotates them, so that they can have days off. What’s the big deal?

    @ Sarcasatire, I bet you’re absolutely right! That’s why Kim clams up about the conversation, because she doesn’t want Kyle to look like a bitch.

    @oralphie, look Camille’s a hosebeast, but at least you know exactly where you stand. Kyle & Taylor are phonies who tear their friends and family down behind their backs. This whole season Kyle’s been a dead ringer for a friend of mine, and I never got why until I realized what she does behind people’s backs. Camille isn’t much better than stepping in dog mess, but I’d take 10 of her over a backstabbing dish face like Kyle. And what’s with her gnarled hands??? Those massive gum ball machine rings don’t mask the stumpy, arthritic tendrils from hell.

    Still cannot understand the Camille….like? Blech. She is a total she-douche. Camille has a habit of not really saying something offensive, but sort of implying it. She is the bitch who will say “Now, I would never say that Jane Doe is fat and stupid – no, I would never! I would certainly not say that her dh is sleeping with the kindergarten teacher … Mr. Smith. No I would never say that!”
    Plus she has such an entitled, aristocratic attitude it makes me wish for the good ol’ guillatine days.

    Kyle? I just don’t see her as that big of a bitch. I would rather have someone call me a fucking liar to my face then passive/aggressively hint that I lied and then use a baby voice to ask why am I mad.
    And trust, noone is pissed at Camille having one nanny or two nannies but four nannies for two children?! And then bitch about how haaaaaard her liiiiiife is and how haaaaaaard she wooooooorks. A whole 30% harder then the rest of us! Waaah! Poor Camille.

    Now Taylor has yet to show a single redeeming quality. She is shallow, bitchy, conniving, jealous, anal and envious of anyone who might have something that she does not. And can any gasmii with animal allergies chime in about whether or not a chihuahua will not trigger and allergic reaction? Ah, she is such a complete and total bitch. Her personality matches her giant gaping maw.

    My friend is allergic to dogs got a chihuahua as a child because her parents were told that the dogs won’t trigger her allergies. And when I got my chihuahua, I would bring it to her house all the time and she was fine. So, I’m guessing Taylor did her research. (I agree about Taylor..i dislike her more than I do Camille. She is the most calculating and phony of the bunch)

    I never really hated Camille. Sure, everybody has their reason why they do, which is fine. Even though, I suspect @ohralphie, you may have missed my point regarding the nannies. They do not work at the same time. She only ever has two on duty, one for each child. She has said repeatedly, that she rotates them, so they can have time off. She’s not inhumane, having immigrants doing domestic work with unfair wages and schedules. (You know, the kind that have to sneak out in the middle of the night) I did find it refreshing that she hired American citizens which means they make a decent wage and get benefits. Lisa on the other hand.. I’d love to know how much she pays her Latina live-in. Or what Kyle was paying hers before the woman snuck out a side window with her belongings secured in a bandana, and tied to a stick.

    Anyway, like I said..I never hated Camille. I’ve never hated any of the housewives..too much energy. Now, i don’t like Teresa or Jill or Nene (after last week’s episode), but I’m indifferent when it comes to Camille. She only ever bad mouthed Kyle and since they were feuding, what’s wrong with that? I’m sure Kyle badmouthed her just as hard, but it wasn’t dribbled out every episode, like they did with Camille’s “she verbally assaulted me,” quotes.

    Camille probably does have a hard life because she has so many societal restraints. So many things she can’t do, being the wife of a celebrity. Always having to look so polished..I doubt she could wear her hair in a ponytail with a pair of baggy sweats. Could you imagine the societal restrictions Frasier has placed on her? Could you imagine ‘all eyes on you’ always, waiting for you to mess up? The pressure! I honestly don’t envy that life in the spotlight, nor do i hate her for calling it work. I had to take my baby to a doctor’s appt today, and it snowed last night. I wore a big puffy coat, jeans, old sneakers, and not a stitch of makeup..just some Burt’s Bees chapstick. The fact that no one gave me a second glance makes things so much easier.

    @sarcas — Truthfully, I think any nannies are excessive for an unemployed woman, and yes that does go for all the househos. Although Adrienne does work after a fashion. But still, when your only ‘job’ requirement is to look pretty I think one can pull up her big girl pants and raise her own children.*** After all, Jennifer Garner is an actual celebrity and not just married to one and we see her in public with her children dressed in jeans with a pony tail all the time. I’ve seen pictures of Halle Berry, Camille Alvarez, Reese Witherspoon, and just about every female actual celebrity in jeans/shorts and tee shirts. Hell, just pick up the magazine that has the ‘stars – just like us?’ photo spread.
    And really, Camille is the spouse of a star – the only time she is getting her picture taken prior to Housewives was on the red carpet. Noone was papping her. I couldn’t tell you who the spouses of celebrities are unless they married other celebrities. Who is Hugh Laurie married to? No idea. What about Omar Epps? No clue. Camilles only claim to fame prior to marrying Frazier was being a dancer on Club Mtv. Oh, and willing to ‘not’ talk on Howard Stern.

    ***I think my disgust with Camille and yes, Kyle and Taylor as well regarding their ‘need’ for nannies is coming from my experience as a mom to four. I once went to the obgyns for bloodwork (as I was experienceing a miscarriage, mind you) with FIVE (12 to 3, a mix of my kids and my sisters) children in tow. I lined them up across from as a nurse drew my blood. And they behaved! I also took two kids (4 & 3) for a pre surgerical consult. I’ve no patience for how haaaaaard it is for Camille with her two on duty nannies.

    Hear, hear! I have four as well (ages 1-6)and work part-time, chauffeur, shop, etc. and drag ‘em all with me damn near everywhere I go! I totally understand the point about rotation; that’s a non-issue to me. I live in a fairly wealthy community and the other mothers I know do not employ live-in nannies despite their ability to do so.

    The point (to me) REALLY is: If you’re going to have children, raise them yourself – don’t just visit them occasionally. I understand childcare while you work to pay the bills. A SAHM who needs 24/7 ‘help’ with her kids? Puh-leeeeeeeze!

    But then, I’m just a real housewife in the Rocky Mountains. What do I know?

    really, @really? Haha..we have a silly little troll on our hands. It hasn’t been lost on us that the drama stopped around here a long time ago…so I guess you here to stir it back up? Can’t understand how people can disagree peacefully can you? Awww..it’s okay honey, maturity takes time. Be patient.

    Regarding the nannies..it is excessive. So is the entire Beverly Hills lifestyle. I mean…a $30 million mansion?? Several cars, jets, a huge staff of employees..it’s the excess that made this series of Housewives so facinating. I don’t really see it as a reason to hate anyone, personally. I’m sure Bravo would have casted any one they could find in that role if they could give us a glimpse into the lifestyle of those who have ‘someone’ to do everything.

    A SAHM mom who needs help…I used to work for one! lol…and this lady was stressed. Very lovable family, three kids when I started and the mom was preggo..I only worked one day a week in my late teens, where I would just play with the toddler and take him to the park. (She had two school age kids, too.) When the new baby arrived, she employed a live-in for the weekly shift and I came on Saturdays. But she was always busy..writing checks, cooking dinner (homecooked meals daily!), going grocery shopping, picking up something one of the kids needed…she was never still and she felt without the help she would go mad. She even employed a night nurse for those pesky am feedings, just so she could get enough sleep! She even went to this spa one weekend (they asked me to do an overnighter) because she felt so stressed and overwhelmed.

    Not gonna lie…my family did not understand. They would just say..why is it so hard? What is she doing that millions of women are doing daily with any help? They just thought she was a wasteful woman, but I actually felt that she was at times overwhelmed trying to maintain this perfect life where everyone had what they wanted and needed. Sometimes, we women put this pressure on ourselves. The smart ones, however, say..”ok, it may not get done today, but it’ll get done eventually.” lol

    Yes, folks can agree to disagree, peacefully, and I think that all of our comments should address the show. But, I also think that calling someone a troll and telling them to mature isn’t a peacefull way to go about it either.

    This was somebody’s opinion that may or may not be valid depending on who the reader of this site is. You weren’t called any names. Yet, you responded with name calling.

    @Sarcas…lol, I was thinking the same thing about a troll. I could be totally wrong, but that did seem like it was aimed at you by someone with a history of back and forth with you. Why else call you out for “never being wrong” and making it personal. Some random person would just say “I disagree b/c of the following…”
    I personally hate Camille and do think it’s pretty disgusting that she employs four nannies for kids that she barely even sees. However, Sarcas has made valid points for the reasons why SHE doesn’t feel the same way I do. I hardly feel like she’s trying to tell anyone to feel the same way, she’s just saying this is why she feels the way she does.

    Well, robinez, I’m am glad that in recent times you have focused more on the shows and not on feuds with other commenters. Things have been more peaceful around here as s result. I am surprised, however, that you chose to address my response to really? instead of the fact that he/she accused me of browbeating people who disagree with me. Hmm…

    Doesn’t matter if someone is a good contributor. If they chose to put down others posters or take jabs then that’s troll behavior. Silly, immature, and unnecessary. We’d gone without it for a while…but I guess it wasn’t meant to last.

    Just to be clear yes I was specifically talking about Sarcas…and to honestly being called a troll when I am calling someone out on their bullsh!t of never being able to take anyone else’s perspective and think that they are entilted to that is fine by me…just shows your lack of maturity and open mindedness…Honey. I personally am a stay at home mom with one child and another on the way, I run my household, pay the bills, plan the family vacations, pack my husbands lunches all without the help of a Nanny…so Camielle can kiss my missouri housewife booty. Now if anybody has a problem with that they are more than welcome to say so, but you only need to say it once, I do not come to this site that I love to read people who feel the need to state their opinions more than once.

    really? I’m so happy for you. You seem like you love your life and all that you do. So much so that you are here starting unnecessary drama…just like a few other bored housewives we know. (Heck, there’s even a show about them!) If I felt someone browbeat others with their point of view, I would never dream of starting a discussion with them, much less one that puts them on the defensive. But, it’s okay to be hypocriitcal when shit-stirring. If you’re lucky, a fight will ensue, and maybe no one will even realize that you’re the one who started it. Maybe.

    In the meantime..I’m sure there’s laundry to fold. Or a lunch to pack. Those things just don’t do themselves!

    @thiajok: I didn’t know this was an ongoing feud. Before she chose to call me out, I don’t think I’ve ever even noticed ‘really?’ around these parts, much less had any interaction with her. I guess people will do anything to get noticed.

    It is amazing to me how the ones who tend to jump on anyone’s case when they make a point different from their own tend to game up on posters when they hit a nerve…NWOMTV I have never once had an issue with anything you have posted and for you to tell me to shut my face is rude and uncalled for, not to mention something that my own CHILD would get in trouble for saying let alone a grown adult..I am done with you poeple…Flipit and JMO I will sincerly miss reading your recaps….it is a shame that I am yet another one of the readers that have been driven off by being called names and bullied.
