About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Why are there no women on the list, or are there two separate lists? If not, it’s really upsetting that acclaimed women who became household names as film stars like Madeleine Stowe and Laura Linney make less money than..well, almost all of those guys. Also, where’s Mariska Hargitay and why doesn’t Ellen Pompeo make as much as Dempsey, seeing as she’s the “Grey” in “Grey’s Anatomy”? (again, this is all assuming there’s just one list)

Out of curiosity, I compiled the two lists (actors and actresses) together, and ended up with this:

    1. Ashton Kutcher, $24 million
    2. Sofia Vergara, $19 million
    3. Kim Kardashian, $18 million
    3. Hugh Laurie, $18 million
    3. Ray Romano, $18 million
    6. Eva Longoria, $15 million
    6. Alec Baldwin, $15 million
    6. Mark Harmon, $15 million
    9. Tim Allen, $14 million
    10. Jon Cryer, $13 million
    11. Bethenny Frankel, $12 million
    11. Patrick Dempsey, $12 million
    13. Khloe Kardashian Odom, $11 million
    13. Tina Fey, $11 million
    15. Mariska Hargitay, $10 million
    16. Zooey Deschanel, $9 million
    16. Felicity Huffman, $9 million
    16. Ellen Pompeo, $9 million
    19. Kate Walsh, $8 million
    19. Teri Hatcher, $8 million
    19. Marcia Cross, $8 million
    19. Kaley Cuoco, $8 million
    19. Jim Parsons, $8 million
    19. Johnny Galecki, $8 million
    19. Jason Segel, $8 million

One thing is very clear: Ashton Kutcher is overpaid.

Mailbox, how old is that list? Many of those listed were on series that have ended. Are those their syndication royalties? They really need to differentiate between “actresses” and those-pimped-out-by-mom like the Kartrashians, or Bethenney Frankel. Or does this mean that people on reality shows are acting and their scenes aren’t totally unscripted?! ; O

While I am not so sure about the list. I can certainly agree that Ashton Kutcher is overpaid.

Just to be one of those “annoying” people – women *are* actors. The term actor is gender-neutral, and especially since the 1950′s-60′s, is generally preferred by “serious female actors”. “Actress” is usually used when separating lists (such as this one) and awards. :)

So, it’s not crazy to ask if the list of “highest paid actors” is male/female or only male. :D

Me too. If he hadn’t met Demi and Bruce and the “We are the world” We go on vacations together and the children are really cool with it’. He would have faded into the sunset like those other people from That 70′s Show.Donna was..and everybody knows that the dude with a funny accent, and the skinny guy that was Donna’s boyfriend.

The only good thing that ever came out of that 70′s Show was when Kelso sang to Jackie’

    “Jackie I want you backee”

It was also Ashton Kutchers best work as an actor. heh..

BTW Charlie Sheen can run circles around Kutcher.

This list is misleading because it isn’t indicative of their show salaries only. For instance, Sofia Vergara made $19 million but only a fraction of that came from Modern Family. Up until a few months ago, she and the rest of the cast were making just $65,000 an episode. However, she has endorsements like Pepsi, a clothing line at Kmart, and other guest spots and paid appearances that boosted her numbers. Same for Ashton. Sure, as a mostly movie actor these days, producers pay well to get them on the smaller (tv) screen. But Ashton is making a mint off of his investments. He even got into hot water with producers when his first episode aired and they realized that the stickers he placed on his prop laptop were promoting his tech companies and investments and he had promoted them without permission or paying advertising fees. I’m not sure what Ashton makes per episode, but the 70′s Show was in syndication, and he has investments, royalties, etc…and they probably make up the bulk of his annual salary.

Interesting about the stickers on his laptop and it doesn’t suprise me.

He may make alot of money from investments. But the subject was how much is is paid as an actor and I still agree with myself. As an actor he is overpaid.

You agree with yourself? Well you should! lol

My point is that I don’t believe he makes $24 million a year acting. The list is the “highest paid actors on TV” and implies their salary comes from TV acting alone, which is why I called it misleading. I went to Forbes, they said for the list they factored in his film work and investments and that Ashton makes $700,000 per episode which doesn’t add up to $24 million..further proof why this list is misleading.

I think it is misleading because it implies that he is an actor…

Has anyone seen those Jimmy Fallon commercials with the babies and 50% cash back? Ashton Kutcher reminds me of those babies, except the babies have more personality.
