   Why these teasers this year? Just curious. Is it an attempt to drive/increase traffic & hits on the BB live feed updates? Kind of like a commercial on TV Gasm.

   I’m addicted to the feedcaps! Sometimes I fall behind and have like 10 pages of gossip, gameplay, and photos to catch up on. Good times.. And it’s amazing to see how much things are edited/skewed for TV. Or even shown out of order..

   But this week is definitely an emphasis on the POWER of the Veto. Off to go catch up..

   We lost the forum’s for awhile, so these posts are just ways to let you know they are back in full force.
   Also, like Mimo said, it’s a shortcut. :0)

   @ considerthis: the forums were integrated into the old TVgasm site and it was much easier to keep an eye on the threads and discussions there. With the newer versions of TVgasm the forums kind of fell by the wayside (probably exactly because they didn’t drive up the page-hits like the main site).

   This isn’t such a big deal for most shows, since we can just as easily take our cheap-shots at them in the recaps comments. But the BB Live Feeds are a different animal — they’re the best part of the show, and the feedcappers are great : they don’t just recap the feeds (other sites do that pretty well) but provide running snark as well.

   So these teasers are just a way of letting people know the live feed threads exist. The forum helps keep the spoilers out of the main recaps — for people who prefer to watch only the ‘reality’ provided by the show. But the most interesting part of Big Brother is that people can watch the live feeds — which often have a much different reality from what the producers edit into the broadcast shows.

    BB is a show that I don’t need live feed threads to suck out all anticipation of what the network has edited and presented in three separate episodes every week, and this most recent one (08/29) is an excellent example of how a commercial network can can present wholly surprising and jaw-dropping ‘new’ episodes to old-school TV viewers who don’t have the desire to get all the “inside” info that a lot of us don’t have the luxury of viewing on a computer monitor for hours at a time.
    FINALLY, I’m excited enough by the latest BB show to want to rush to this site to comment on, only to read all the ‘too-cool-for-school’ testimony about what I’m missing on the live feed threads-
    screw all of you, if comments are worthless here then just dump the ‘Post Comment’ prompt, the recaps alone are good enough reading.
    Or do you wanna take THOSE to the friggin live feed too?!?

    Sorry to disagree, batman (never thought I’d ever type that in my life). But what’s so different about Big Brother is that it’s the only reality show that allows us to view/read about the reality of what’s happening and compare it to the ‘reality’ they decide to show on the primetime episodes in real time.

    It’s not a question of being too cool for school, it’s just the live feeds and the threads about it are as big a part of Big Brother as the episodes.

    Now, if we were speaking of the Bachelor, I’d agree with you 100%. Nothing like the nail-bitin’ suspense of that show to get my blood boiling.

    Although I don’t recall anyone saying your comments are worthless. They’re part of the fun of TvGasm after all.

    Hmm. Maybe time to come out of the batcave for a spell?

    It’s not a matter of cool – it’s a matter of choice – do you want to know the spoilers or not? I think the live feeders and those that follow are very respectful of those that just want the episode recaps.

    Speak for yourself zerocool!!! I am too cool for school. My co-workers who don’t read the live feeds think I am cool. They want to know but they don’t want to know what’s going on in the house. So I will tell them if they ask me something.

    Generally it’s about how something was edited. Like fights or house meetings.

    @Itchy, you always find a way to take it back to before my time. I am always envious I wasn’t born years earlier. My freaking wholesome parents wanted to wait for marriage…UGHHHHHHHHHH!!!
