   Not the same as the forum. Why leave here, go to facebook, and talk about things that have been said HERE? All the while stumbling through the spam landmines..

   I don’t have facebook, don’t need facebook and don’t want facebook. Don’t feed the gremlin! The old feed forum design worked just great. But I’ll settle for a running thread in the recaps section, especially if they can keep all the posts on the same page.

   This is so sad

   I’m going to miss all the silliness here at the gasm forums. I know we can read and comment on the recaps, but it’s not nearly the same. Ya’ll’s updates and screenshots of the feeds, along with all of the banter amongst the group, were the best part of the whole BB experience. Seriously, I’m bummed!

   I don’t have a facebook page either, never have and don’t have the urge to start one now but I did always read the BB (and Survivor) forums. The endless minutia in them was addictive.

   Hey, but my favorite fixed show is starting again and I’m very happy.

    I just went to the fan page on Facebook and I think, if I understand correctly, that the live feed forums will be set up here? Chooch, am I right? Or will we be doing it through the Facebook forums?

    Yes.

    I prefer not to go to facebook to chat about Big Brother because I don’t want to chat on facebook about BB. Why is it necesary to go to facebook and leave TVGasm to discuss a show?

    The forum was one of the best parts of the BB experience. Why do we need the FB connection? How hard would it be to plop a forum up for folks that wanted to talk about BB for old times sake?

    “stumbling through the spam landmines” is what I wanted you to explain to me Robin, not the camaraderie of the forums and the BB connection. No one ever said we were going to chats on FB. There is just a Fan Page there that I work on and that’s all. Sorry that I promoted it in MY OWN article.

    If you remember correctly…. the reason we don’t have forums any more is because it was saturated with SO MUCH SPAM, that it literally crashed the site….. so let’s not talk about “spam landmines” when Cherie, Flipit and I were deleting 500+ spam each a day and we were still not getting all of it. Tell me you don’t remember “anal leakage”?

    Flipit told everyone that we will have forums and we will. I know it’s getting down to the wire and I knew it was going to be this way…. didn’t you all? Seriously, nothing ever goes as planned. I’ve been nagging for them to be back for 3 months and I know damn well we will get them just in time for the live-feeds to start. LOL! I’m hoping for the day before tho.

    We need to take a chill-pill so we are all happy campers when the “Summer of Wannabes” gets going. It’s the WORST choice of casting EVER.

    Oh, ok sorry.

    It seems to me that each and every time I go to FB, I end up with spam. Freaky spam! The kind that freaks me out. I only have a small friend list on FB. Mostly family and a few friends. I mainly use it to see pics of family. But the wierdest thing happens when I post. I can post about ..say..a bike. The next thing I know, sure enough, there is bike spam. I talked to my sis about her pool and a few mins later there were ads for pools. I don’t know about anyone else, but I find this disturbing and kinda creepy. Heh..kinda like “Big Brother” watching me. ;}

    I was under the impression that the BB forum would be be replaced by a FB/BB forum. Sorry for my misunderstanding. I am happy to hear that we will return to our old format.

    I remember the spam trouble that plagued and I remember your hard work keeping it under control. It was appreciated.

    Itchy, I’m looking at three different ones right now and testing them all. We will have a decision tomorrow on which one we will be going with. This has been VERY hard and extemely stressful. My enthusiasum for BB has waned considerably in the past 48 hrs.

    Have you guys listened to the “Rob Has A Podcast” of the Top 14 BB Players of All Time? It’s a two-hour podcast, but it’s an interesting list(en). IMHO, I have to say that any list not including Nakomis is kind of crap. If it wasn’t for her, the six-finger plan aka “backdoored” wouldn’t be a part of the BB lexicon. She was also voted out of All-Stars early because she is super intelligent and wouldn’t be manipulated by the axis of evil (Will/Janelle/Boogie) like Erika or Danielle.

    I know. Stress sucks. My Stepmom was dx with larynx cancer and her voicebox was removed. My Father is her caregiver and he wishes he only had to worry about a forum. In the meantime, he tries not to be mean to folks that speak to him.

    Perhaps leaving this to the last minute had something to do with your stress level, too. It isn’t fair if this was plopped in your lap to figure out with little time, either.

    I am sure it will all work out.

    SERIOUSLY ROBIN! You had to go there….. I know a little bit about stress and hard times myself. I’m not some stupid teenager your talking to. Six years ago I was on life support with tubes down my throat in ICU. The priest had already given me my last rites, so don’t be preaching to ME about stress and hard times.

    If there’s one thing I’ve learned… someone is always going to have it worse than me, or feel the need to point it out. So as a general rule I keep my complaining and frets as minimal as possible, BUT at the same time, just because they don’t meet someone else’s standard, doesn’t make me feel any different in the long run. Everyone is human and everyone is affected differently. If every time I vented about something, someone said something to the effect of “It could be worse, you’re not a starving child in Africa,” I’d agree and then I’d slap them. You can’t spend your life comparing your problems (as small as they may be) to others or defend yourself to those trying to one up you by saying they’ve had it worse. I’d just say, you can “win” every time if that’s what you want. I understand trying to put things in perspective, but man, I’d hate to spend my life always looking for the opportunity to call someone out.

    I simply shared my disapointment when I mistakenly thought that the BB forum would be on Facebook instead of a TVG group as has been in the past and I tried my best to put things in perspective. I used an analogy that hits close to home right now. I was kind of a pain in my own ass wanting the forum up and running and reminded myself how silly I am for worrying so much about something that I will probably forget about shortly after the conclusion.

    Leave those starving kids alone! Darn!

    I think Hantz’s brother is much more handsome that the other brother. But he is def a Hantz. He telegraphs it so much, he may as well have an immunity idol around his neck. The folks in this house are reality junkies. He won’t get away with it long. I also think he let the cat out of the bag soon anyway, because the Hantzs can never keep their mouth shut.
