BB14: CHOOCH ON STRIKE!

Chooch: “Six hours and forty-five minutes? WTF? It didn’t take me that long to have my twins!”

Yesterday at 12:40pm PT the live feeds went to *TRIVIA* signaling the beginning of Big Brother’s VETO Competition, an event that happens every Saturday afternoon. This competition was to be extremely important because of who was on the block. The BB crew had been building the set for this game since the day before, so we had all, even the houseguests, been expecting it to be something really fantastic.

We waited…. and waited…. and waited! I cruised other sites. We heard nothing for hours. Rumors started, things like technical difficulties and then this went out over the internet: CBS_BB_Production: We Apologize for the delay, their was a medical emergency during the power of veto competition and the game has been put on hold while we figure things out. The feeds will be back up shortly.

None of it was true. When the feeds came back on at 7:26pm PT, 6 hours and 45 minutes later, it was business as usual in the Big Brother house. Boogie and Frank were sitting in the backyard and Danielle and Ian were playing pool. You would never have known there was ever a competition in that backyard. Everyone was fine. Danielle had just gotten up from a TWO HOUR nap!

The VETO competition only lasted 5 rounds. It seems producers just “forgot” to turn the live feeds back on. The houseguests never even knew they weren’t being watched. Am I angry? I’m more disappointed than angry, at the way we’ve been treated by TPTB this season. Do they really think we are so loyal that we will watch Big Brother and pay for the live feeds, no matter what they do? The blatant manipulations and tampering are over the top and to the point that we can’t pretend we don’t care. But blocking us out for no reason at all? Come ON! There are other sites that are striking today by not watching tonight’s show or DVR’ing it and going on TWITTER to announce their strike. I’m joining this strike today. I am going silent for the next 24 hours here. I will see you all tomorrow.

love, chooch

If you want to join the Twitter strike, use hashtag #bbstrike in your tweets.

Go to the Big Brother Live Feed Updates here to find out who won the HOH competition and who was put on the block and see just why this VETO competition was so important. They DID have it too and there was a winner.

Does CBS still advertise the feeds as “24/7 uncensored?”

Tweeted my strike and will not be watching the show tonight. I don’t mind some manipulation because, duh, it’s Big Brother. But keeping the feeds off because “they forgot”? Making up twists to keep Grodner’s pets? Making horrible casting choices? Fire Grodner and bring back Shapiro. Hell, hire the casting director from The Glass House. Their cast was 100% times better, plus their challenges were much more entertaining. I hope it has another season and they increase the feeds. It can definitely take the place of Big Brother!

So, I know watching tv shows not quite legally is not supposed to be talk about around here, but you can watch tonight’s show on some of those sites. This does not include cbs.com because they like those viewers so much they mess up the feeds so you have to reload the page and re-watch some of the ads again so they get more money.

Thank you to all the feed-cappers. Y’all are awesome. I can honestly say that if the ‘live’ feeds and BBAD weren’t recapped here, I might not watch Big Brother.

    @Carol

“Thank you to all the feed-cappers. Y’all are awesome. I can honestly say that if the ‘live’ feeds and BBAD weren’t recapped here, I might not watch Big Brother.”

I agree. I also think that the feedcappers have done a helluva good job given what they had to work with this season. Last season we had Racheal and Brendon and the Ugly Gypsy fortuneteller, Whats his face, the one Chooch likes, making Rachel work out…and the feedcappers tore it up!

I am still amazed that they have managed to do something with this mess of a crew.

    Who is Jen?

The football game was on at my house!!! i”m not a feedcapper but to be without feeds for almost 7 hours as a faithful reader was torture. You keep going back hoping that there is something that will feed your addiction…just a little something and NOTHING.

Isn’t there a 12 step program for that, ClasSay?

Maybe we can get Doctah Drew to get one going.

The feeds were down because the woman inside the Zingbot costume passed out, they had to call in an ambulance, they were down for a while until they could get someone else to replace her.
