Bethenny Frankel’s Fortune

Watercooler

The Hollywood Reporter did an interesting article on Bethenny Frankel, and the numbers came out. The article divulged how much she made off her Skinny Girl Margaritas. Guess how much she made? $120 million!! Um, yeah. How crazy is that? I don’t know what her deal was with her business partner, but if she split the dough, $60 million is not to shabby. She basically said she had one motive for doing reality, and it was all business. Smart girl.

I’m glad she was able to capitalize on her reality fame. The thing that’s going to get annoying, and it already is–is watching other reality stars trying to peddle their products on shows like they’re doing an infomercial. Not everyone can do it…not everyone is Bethenny. It takes a certain control freak, and a lot of tenacity to get where she is.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I have no idea why, but I’m so proud of her. Good girl.

As a former Bethenny fan on RHONY, I really can’t stand to watch her new show. AND I drink beer, not margaritas. But what the hell. She worked hard for what she’s got. More power to her. I hope she takes some of her money and finds a really good psychologist (as opposed to what she’s got now) and can spend the rest of her life enjoying what she made.

At least she didn’t marry it. I admire that. She worked hard and, like her or not, she did it herself.

Good for her. And now I do’t ever want to see her whiny ass on television again.

For crying out loud, I hope she buys a bigger apartment, with separate wings for her servants!

    Good for her!

Maybe now she can sit back and relax instead of shoving her face onto every tv show that will have her preaching how “exhausted” she is and handing out advice to the multitudes.

And send your mother a check as well Bethenny. God knows she deserves some credit by making your fans weep over your childhood loss in using her like an emotional pinata every week.

In a related note, Gretchen Rossi of “RHOC” just sold her “Gretchen Christine Beaute” line to Mary Kay Cosmetics for $120. Way to go Gretchen & Slade!!

ahaha, there are some serious Bethanny-haters on here. some jealous ones too, considering that $120 milllion is more than any of us will ever make, or even get close to, in our lifetime. good for her. her & Bryn deserve it & I hope her horrible mother never sees one red cent.

Kudos to Bethenny! Hate the Playa not the game. Coming from a serious background of abuse myself, inflicted on me mostly from my *mother*, I applaude her for overcoming the odds and reaching such a tremendouns level of success. Everyone has problems, I have PTSD, but I don’t let it stop me. Do I have break downs and setbacks? Yes. Doesn’t everyone? Cheers to a woman who is working as hard as she can to make a better life for herself and her family! Screw her mother, may she never receive a dime of Bethenny’s money. And, screw all the haters who don’t like to see a beautiful, smart, whacky woman succed in this country. What is this the 1950′s? Shut up all you keyboard quarterbacks and get a life.

    Whitty. NWOMTV, pretty self explainitory.

I’ve been reading this blog for years and have only begun posting about a month ago tired of all the judging and snark from Cyber Bullies (yes, that is indeed what you are). I figured skated for almost 20 years and never attempted to do a death sprial (so as not to jeapordize my full scholarship to school in another sport) and Bitch can do one in two months? That’s drive. Do you even know how to play a sport that isn’t attached to a gaming system? Doubtful.

What is it exactly that you are doing to win the Nobel prize? Are you joining the Red Cross? Sending millions to Japan? Single handedly hunting down Bin Laden and taking out Khdafi-at the same time? Not With Out Your TV I’m sure. Sounds more like agoraphobia, maybe we should create a reality show about your handle… Riveting.

I mean really, what is it that you do that is SO much better than any of these people who put themselves out there (albeit by choice) to take a chance? Making played out ‘VH1 Best of *fill in the blank series*’ snakry comments? Lame.

My glass is half full, good for Bethenney and anyone else who puts themselves out there to try to make their American Dream happen. Lord knows that dream grows further and further out of reach every day.

    Meh.
