Betty White has been named executive producer and host of a new hidden camera show on NBC called, Off Their Rockers. The show is based on the European format, Benidorm Bastards, which is a senior citizen prank show that punks younger people. Betty won’t be taking part in the pranks, rather she’ll host the show, and comment on all of them. I know the hidden camera format is so tired, and old, but I think putting senior citizens in the mix is kind of amazing. I love old people so much, and can’t get enough of them. I’m actually super excited about all of this!

Here’s a clip of the European format, Benidorm Bastards:

If you can’t get enough Betty, NBC has dedicated a portion of their website to her! Click here to see all the Betty goodies!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Post an address, Nads, so I can send my father to you. I’d really like to make a gift of him to someone who actually does appreciate old people.

Thiajok—f’n amazing…is he THAT bad?? I’ll take him, drive him crazy, then send him back to you. He’ll appeciate everyone around him, after I drive him crazy by talking his ear off about my obsession for shoes, social networking, and handbags.

He’s already crazy, but I’m worried for you, frankly. Xanax, that’s the ticket.

Seriously, he’s been sick lately and I’ve been having to spend loads more time with him than usual–those boundaries I’ve spent most of my adult life putting up are just falling down around my ears. I feel bad that he’s sick, but this hasn’t been the magical solution to all the dysfunction in our relationship.

What I meant, Nads, is that I’m worried for you should he actually join you. Not that I think you’re crazy. See, I’m crazy now, too! :)
