Bravo broke their silence! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere date will not be pushed as of now. Bravo‘s president Frances Berwick said, “Contrary to what is being reported, we have not made a decision to change our original premiere date but we are in the process of re-editing the show.”

I’m curious to see how it will all be re-edited. I wish they could release both versions. Ha.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

There’s a LOT of disturbing news out there about Russell and Taylor in the rags. I don’t know how Bravo is going to handle damage control. It just gets more and more sad. Turns my stomach.

Do you think there’s any kind of news at this point that ISN’T good for the Housewives franchise? It seems like the more tasteless the show gets, the higher the ratings go… I honestly think that this is going to be seen by Bravo as “really great TV” that they didn’t even have to frankenedit from separate pieces. And that’s a disturbing thought, I know. I’ve been starting to wonder where the basement really is for reality TV.

One would think that the murder/suicide from Megan Wants a Millionaire would have been the basement for reality tv. Apparently it was the top floor.

The murder/suicide affiliated with Megan Wants a Millionaire wasn’t show related in the sense that the show didn’t cause it- it occurred pre-filming. Russell’s suicide was the unfortunate cause of someone who signed contracts, knew his life would be open for discussion on a national forum, and wasn’t able to handle the aftermath- although it seems his demons existed prior to the show he clearly couldn’t handle them in a magnified setting. Those who are actually in the business know that since the Megan Wants a Millionaire disaster things have definitely changed in terms of reality t.v. whether or not the audiences know what now has to happen behind the scenes. Either way… you’re all still watching, aren’t you?

MWAM was canceled because the murderer won the show and he went on to win Love of Money, which they canceled, also. Frankly, this isn’t the first death of a Housewives spouse, is it? Tammy Knickerbocker’s ex-husband died, Jeff, Gretchen’s fiance died (and they knew he was terminally ill when they began filming, Kandi’s fiance AJ died, and now Russell. I understand that it’s shocking because he took his own life, but that doesn’t mean they should cancel the show. They should just edit out any disparaging remarks that any cast member has said about him, including Taylor’s. Bravo should mention the divorce/separation because, duh, that’s reality and we all know it was happening…but they should not focus on reasons or blame. What they should focus on is the smackdown Kim and Kyle will put on Brandi. Or Adrienne and Lisa’s tiff. That’s what I’m excited to see!

i read that too Derek…who knows. could be true. he could have been surpressing a lot of stuff. i have heard the abuse stuff that tmz and everyone else is reporting is totally true. i don’t know how much of it was true, but there was abuse for sure. there was another article about russell shooting his sister w/ a gun when he was little too.

i don’t think the show caused the dude to kill himself–it could have been that he didn’t want his dirty laundry aired in front of america…but that’s his own fault. he shouldn’t have been such a shady m-f’er.

I agree, Nads. I don’t think the show caused him to kill himself..especially since it hadn’t even premiered yet. I read on TMZ that his credit cards had been frozen and he had no money. Zip. Zilch. The friend said he took Russell to dinner and Russell couldn’t even pay for his meal. He’d been staying at another friend’s place because he had nowhere else to go. The friend said he’d given Russell a Xanax a few days earlier, then Russell called him up again and asked for a whole bottle but the friend refused.
This seems like more of a reason as to why he chose to take his life when he did. He had no money and no source of income and he felt desperate. Of course, we’ll never know..

Just a little blast from the past; http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/blogs/2011/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills/is-beverly-hills-housewife-taylor-armstrong-a-scam-artist/

I think that Taylor was ready, willing and able to throw her husband and the father of her child under the bus this season. She had a domestic violence platform begining last year and I truly think that she was expecting-planning that the vitriol folks felt for her in the previous season would be forgotten because of the abuse that she suffered.

I don’t doubt that Taylor and Russell had an abusive relationship. I think if he abused her he should have been arrested and put in jail. Simple as that. As a matter of fact, I am curious why he wasn’t arrested when she went into the hospital for “reconstructive surgery” after he hurt her so badly…see what happens when I watch these shows? I start to question everything because I do not trust Bravo and their spin..Any other time I would be calling for his head. Instead, I am wondering why the cops weren’t called..and just what this “reconstructive surgery” was about.

No, instead, the best course of action is to go on a tv show and talk about how abusive the father of your child is. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Her “character” on the show has always vaccilated between “poor me” and ” I will go Oklahoma” I think this year she was going Oklahoma on her husband in hopes that she would come out smelling like a rose.

@robinez — absolutely agreed. I only hope that Bravo doesn’t give Taylor a shrinking violet/sad little waif edit. The woman is a bitch and as was noted, a con artist herself. The only person deserving a sympathetic edit and all of our compassion is their child.
