Britney Spears Wants $20 Million For The X Factor

Rumor has it that Britney Spears has turned down the $10 million offered to her for The X Factor and is holding out for $20 million. She’s allegedly threatening to take up a residency in Vegas if they don’t give her what she wants. Christina gets $10 million from NBC, so I know Britney will not want to be on the same playing field as her bleached blond rival…so what’ll it take? I know Fox won’t shell out $20 mill.

Vegas sounds great and all, but Brit can always do Vegas…

The X Factor needs Britney as much as Britney needs The X Factor. They should just agree to a number and call it a day, y’all. To hear Britney have to physically think and use her voice will be priceless…does she even know how to do that anymore after her conservatorship?

    You know, they may take away my snark card for this, but in this situation, 20 million sounds like the right number for Britney, Her albums sell, her concerts do great, and while she’s always going to have the option to go to Vegas, right now is probably when she gets top dollar. From where I’m sitting the ratings for the last season of X-Factor were okay, but Fox is paying for a hit. The show doesn’t generate a lot of buzz, which is why they are looking for an established star to bring in the viewers that they can’t get right now. If Britney signs with the show, she’s bailing them out, not visa-a-versa. I think she should get every nickel she can on the deal

    WAFFELE I LOVE YOUR MONSTER AVATAR, I’ll trade you 6 Garbage Pail kids for it.

    And, to get real for a minute, I do agree with you. I am a Britt fan (not a super fan but, a fan) and would really like to see her make a full come back from all the tragedy she’s been through (albeit some brought on herself) I just can’t help but think that big Disney machine chews kids up and spits them out. And, the ones that don’t have the brains or a good support network to help them through it end up like Britt Britt, or Xtina…she’s looking ROUGH, never mind dirty these days.

    I agree Brit is worth the money. I actually admire her parents for not sitting on their Dina Lohan spending money and watching their kid self-destruct. If the chick who won don’t have Kelly Clarkson type success then they need Brit to bring people back.

    I don’t know guys JLO is getting twenty million for american idol on the same network and Britney is way more famous than Jennifer in her hey day, so it’s a good decision to hold out.

    I might actually watch this show if she was on it and I’m in a prime demographic.
