This week it was rumored that Britney wanted to be a judge on The X Factor, and now In Touch is reporting that Brit wants a recurring role on Smash. They’re saying that Brit is hooked on the show, and she’s lobbying to get on. I don’t know why the visual of Britney being hooked on a TV show makes me laugh. I keep picturing her with a bag of Cheetos, orange finger tips, barefoot, curled up on her couch with a little mascara running down her face yelling “I love this show y’all! This is must.see.Teeeee-veeeyyy!”

I’m sure Brit will get her wish, and you know what? I’ll probably watch!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Yeah I’m with SuburBint. Brit is just not vocally in a league with Kat McPhee or whoever plays Ivy. Maybe she could play a production assistant who gets people coffee or something.

he was funny as a guest star on How I Met Your Mother! I still laugh over the part where Barney asks her, after they’ve slept together, “Are you thinking the same thing I am?” & she responds, incredulously, “You’re thinking about sleeping with Ted, too?!”

she basically just played herself except dumber but I feel like if she got a chance to work with material better than Crossroads that she could actually be a decent little actress. it certainly couldn’t *hurt* her career, her mental breakdown didn’t so I doubt some bad acting will.

I haven’t watched Smash, but just based on who Britney is, I think she’d be better on a show like Glee. not as a student but as a para or something like that. anyway, I’m a fan of Britney herself, not so much her music, so I hope she does well no matter what.
