Elisabeth Hasselbeck is about to explode all over your mornings, and not in the good way. She’s now signed on to be a contributing correspondent on Good Morning America, AND will keep her post on The View.

Does the world really need a double shot of Elisabeth every morning? There’s a reason I watch The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda, and not The View…it’s because Elisabeth drives me nuts! Plus Kathie Lee, and Hoda are f*cking hilarious. I swear, I was NEVER a Kathie Lee and Hoda fan, until SNL spoofed them, and now I watch The Today Show just because of Kristen Wiig.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I think she’s the most successful FORMER SURVIVOR.

I mean, really, she goes on a REALITY TV show (SURVIVOR) and gets a talk show gig (THE VIEW) and a TODAY show gig!

Another reason why I don’t watch Good Morning America, and I have been watching morning news for over 20 years. In the past I watched The View when I was home, but with her rude behavior, holier than thou attitude, and “if I talk over everyone I win!!” motto, I found other things to do during that time.

I like her. At least she does her homework. Something Sherri Shepherd might want to try.

I like her, too. But it isn’t fashionable here to like anyone with even a remotely conservative point of view…especially if they have the temerity to articulate it both well and publicly.

Hasslebeck makes good points, but where she goes wrong with me is the holier than thou attitude. Not all points are black and white, and just because you did/did not do something does not make anyone less of a person because they chose a different route.

At least Hasselbeck doesn’t resort to name-calling and insulting people’s intelligence when they disagree (like Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg.)

I don’t think Hasselbeck has a holier than thou attitude, I think it may come across as it but I think it is more “here we go again”. She knows she is going to be ganged up on and I sense a more “this is me, take it or leave it” from her that she didn’t have before. Joy Behar says stuff that isn’t even remotely true and she gets applause from the audience and does that half smile and I’m expecting her to say “am I right or am I right” as she nods her head. I think without her at the table, there could be good discourse, but she is a bully and won’t allow it.

To be honest I do not care of any of the ladies on the view. I despise Barbara the most. It started out with a good premise, but was never the same after Meridith left.

I’ll always be an Elizabeth Hasselback fan, but I’m biased because I loved her Survivor season!!
