Last Call with Carson Daly is reaching it’s 10th season (yes can you believe Caron is still on?), and they’ve finally given it a full makeover. No longer will we see celebs, hot spots, or comics–it’s going to be all about music. Every night Last Call will feature live performances, behind-the-scenes, and a new artist spotlight.

I actually think it’s a great idea! Ever since Carson got out of the studio, his show became bearable to watch, and I would actually stay tuned rather than flipping to HBO‘s On Demand for another rerun of Sex and the City. Sad to say, but Sex and the City never gets old at 1AM. I’m glad NBC is letting Carson go back to his TRL roots. Music is what he knows best–not monologues, or a BS interviews. The new season premieres tonight. I might actually watch if I’m awake.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

You’re right. There is something about Sex and The City at 1 am. Too much to ever make me watch Carson.

I love late nite SATC viewing, also! I watch them on TBS. Is it me, or is Carson too skinny?

@sarcas, His face has looked strange to me for a long time–too thin. I don’t think he was ever very heavy, was he? Whatever weight he lost, most of it came off of his face!

I love SATC, too. The problems they have with men make me feel unscathed by comparison. I also love to watch shows like Dateline and 48 Hours Mystery; they maked me feel better about my taste in men. I may have had some loser boyfriends, but none of them ever tried to kill me! It also makes you glad you’re single. There’s much less chance of being murdered, since, at least on these shows, it is always the husband!
