THE EARLY SHOW

With the Chenbot gone, CBS is changing up the The Early Show anchors. So that means that Maggie Rodriguez, Harry Smith, and Dave Price are goners. Replacing the trio will be Chris Wragge and Erica Hill of the Early Show Saturday Edition, Jeff Glor from CBS’s Saturday newscast, and Marysol Castro hailing from GMA doing the weather. The new team will start January 3rd.

CBS is hoping the new team will bring in ratings because it’s constantly losing to GMA, and The Today Show. As of now, The Early Show gets almost half as many viewers ass The Today Show. Ouch! That totally sucks!

I can’t say I know why The Early Show is sucking in ratings, because I NEVER watch it…but people that do seem to love it. So you tell me Gasmii, is this change up a bad thing?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

well drat! I like my little gma marysol castro, didn’t know that she was leaving for cbs. The few times I’ve glanced at the early show, it just seems slow and maybe al little Lawrence welky, so it is due for a perk up

Great move except for Harry. I have been a loyal CBS news watcher for 45 years. When they brought Julie Chen in I switched for the first time to ABC. Julie and Maggie…PURE ARROGANCE. I gave Maggie a chance when they booted Julie but she did not fill the bill. Price is a buffoon. Harry and Erica have secured my viewership of late. Suggest CBS get a new weather person and keep Harry and Erica on point. Harry is seasoned and still has not developed the arrogance. Hopefully a fine professional now Erica will not fall into that trap.
