Charlie Sheen: Tisk Tisk

The man that makes $2 million doing a family sitcom fell OFF the wagon, again! Charlie Sheen trashed his room at the Plaza Hotel in NY trying to find his wallet and cellphone after partying with a hooker. I guess the hooker called the front desk after Charlie went into his alleged drunken-coke rage, and the rest is history. He racked up about $7000 in damages, cops were called, and then checked himself into the hospital for a psych evaluation.

That dude is a mess. He’s still on probation, and he can’t stop! The only difference between he and Lindsay Lohan is that Charlie voluntarily checks himself into rehab before getting in trouble. E! is reporting that he’s not facing any criminal charges as of now.

Charlie keeps failing upward. He pulls a knife on Brooke, gets a raise, and avoids jail time…Let’s see how far he can go with this one…

It’s kind of a joke at this point.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

He is the King of all Douches.
Lindsay Lohan is a mess but at least one might chock it up to being young with awful parents…Charlie Sheen?
Puleeze. Isn’t the guy way past middle age?
Somebody has a problem dealing with aging.
Of course, the alternative is to stop living. Who knew?
I guess you can only be young once but messed up and immature forever.
    What an arse.

Bill Maher once said he is America’s golden boy and will be forgiven everytime. “He can beat a nun on a pile of dead puppies and people will go, “Aww..that Charlie. Such a scamp!”

He’ll keep doing it as long as he gets the go ahead to keep on keepin’ on. He put a knife to his wifes throat and CBS renewed his contract, gave him a standing ovation when he returned to work.

Is the show any good? I have yet to find anyone that really likes it and yet clearly CBS seems to think it’s worth putting up with him. Maybe syndication money is just that good for everyone involved.

As long as he can pull himself together enough to give the same performance he’s been giving for…how many years has it been on? The guy is going to kill himself, and they just keep shoving the money at him. Too bad for him that he can still manage to say his lines.

I’m not sure it’s dealing with aging that he’s having trouble with. He has had trouble dealing with everything since he was about 20. Drugs, sex, alcohol–the guy gets addicted to everything. If there is such a thing as an addictive personality, he has got it in spades.

The show used to be decent, but now they’re just phoning it in.

What do you think Mel Gibson thinks of all this? Not that I’m defending that piece of garbage, but Charlie held a knife to a woman’s throat. At least he kept his mouth shut, though, I guess that’s something.

This guy is a douche and I can’t understand how he keeps getting a get out of jail free card. I guess he’s learned how to work the system, as most career criminals do.

@Pixie: The difference between Mel and Charlie’s incidents is with Charlie we didn’t witness it, and they spun the story until it was his/her word against the other and they brought up her alcoholism which kinda clouded her credibilty. (I believe her but I just think they spun the story so he could escape virtually unscathed.) With Mel, WE heard the tapes, were witnesses to his madness, and sorry Mel..there’s no coming back from that. Oskana can say you sodomized her with a zucchini and people will believe her. Moral of the story..next time, get Charlie on tape!

I remember the Robert Downey Jr. days–he was actually a good actor who slipped over into bad behavior due to his addiction. The courts were tough on him, Hollywood let him work, but with certain limitations placed on him should he fail to honor his contracts–eventually, he cleaned up. So no one is doing Charlie Sheen any favors by covering this crap up. Yesterday I read that it was “an allergic reaction to meds” to which I thought, “Yeah, alcohol and coke mixed, maybe.”

To be fair, I have to say I’ve never liked Charlie Sheen as an actor or a person–he’s far less talented than his brother and father.

@thiajok – he was FANTASTIC in platoon. Besides that, not so much. 2 and 1/2 men use to be extremely funny and one of the few shows that both my husband and I could agree to watch – it had a good mix of male humor and well, just humor. I hadn’t seen it in a while and watched this Monday and it was horrible and I wouldn’t have been tuning in again. I’m not big on boycotting shows or the companies that advertise, but this may just be a case in which it is was warranted following his domestic abuse arrest. However, as we’ve seen with NOW’s stance regarding the use of the word whore, women are just as fickle with who they will stand up for and who they will call out for their behavior. I would just like to figure out what exactly Charlie Sheen has done that allows him to be made of teflon – is it really because Daddy can be counted on to speak out on and march for the current uber liberal issue?

I hate this guy. Why is he still around? I don’t find him attractive and in my opinion, his acting is nothing to write home about. He’s so typecast; always the studio, womanizing type – which I have NEVER understood. And he messes up left and right! Put him away – or at least get him off my screen.

@Chemgal: I liked Platoon, but I thought Charlie Sheen’s was the least intriguing portrayal in the film. Saw him in other stuff later and pretty much thought, “Well, he just puts on the same facial expression and goes with it.” I think I’ve read that his family doesn’t enable him, but I can’t be certain of that.

The reason they put up with it is because “2 1/2 Men” is the top-rated comedy on television. He has also won several Emmys for it. It’s got nothing to do with his dad. (Who seems to have largely written him off now that Charlie is middle-aged.) The kid on “2 1/2 Men” is the highest paid teen actor on television; he gets way more than any of the Disney kids, including Miley.

Sheen is pretty good at comedy, like “Hot Shots!” And he is good at poking fun at his own image. It’s not so funny now, since he is still acting that way. His claim to fame is his two Oliver Stone movies, which he got, I think, because of his wide-eyed good looks. He was OK in them.

Robert Downey, Jr. could always get work because he never stepped out of line while he was shooting a film. You can’t really say that for Charlie, though I guess they were having a week off from the show. He and Denise Richards were seeing the sights with their children.

I guess there is one in every family, since the rest of the Sheen/Estevezes seem to be doing OK. I should know because I’m the one in my family. At least I cleaned up my act by the time I was 40, though.
