Warner Bros. finally fired Charlie Sheen. He’s dunzo! They issued the statement, “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ effective immediately.” There’s no word on the fate of Two and a Half Men, so that news is to come…
I’m so happy they finally got rid of him. I mean, they had no other choice. If they brought him back, what kind of message would that be sending to America?
Charlie must be losing his sh*t right now. I wonder if he’ll start his round of media again claiming breach of contract?
On the positive side, if anyone is interested in being an intern for Charlie, apply here. He wants someone with “Tiger Blood.” The saddest part is that he hasn’t even hit rock bottom yet. I’m scared for him.
UPDATE:
Charlie’s response to being fired:
“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”
And here’s why Warner Bros. has grounds to fire him:
“There is ample evidence supporting Warner Bros. reasonable good faith opinion that Mr. Sheen has committed felony offenses involving moral turpitude (including but not limited to furnishing of cocaine to others as part of the self-destructive lifestyle he has described publicly) that have ‘interfere[d] with his ability to fully and completely render all material services required’ under the agreement.”
If you like it, spread it!:

Of course they fired him. He is in breach of the morality clause every CBS/Warner Brothers contract contains. And if they didn’t, every actor under their auspices would think they could get away with the same crap.
Here is my take on Charlie Sheen. After years of excessive drug usage, he has suffered a psychotic break. When he works he is able to stay off drugs, and when he has down time, he gets “bored” and spirals out of control. Right now he is indeed off of drugs…and that is why he is so desperately trying to keep busy by doing every interview possible, recording things for the internet, and trying to figure out marketing strategies.
The minute the interview opportunities dry up and he’s no longer the center of attention, and he has no more job to which he answers, he will once again turn to drugs, and in all likelihood O.D.
I think it’s more sad than anything. I also think it’s interesting that he was abusive to women for years (arrested for shooting one, hitting several others, threatening a few,) but what finally got him fired was anti-semitism and mouthing off to the suits.
I just don’t see the humor in watching someone die by their own choice…especially when he insists in doing it so publicly.
I agree with you, cattyfan. But I think this is all part of some bipolar issues that he self medicates with drugs. He is acting VERY delusional….I have a friend who is also bipolar and when she has a “break”, she acts very similar, saying crazy outlandish things, etc. But who knows? I’m glad I’m not inside his head.
LM…you may very well be right, that it started out as self-medicating.
We’re doing pretty well for a couple of armchair psychiatrists…
lol @ his comment about the shirts! They were ridiculous..
Losing
Carlos Irwin Estevez **hehehe** was fired because od cocaine?! Next…
The shame he is continuing to perpetuate on his family, is what’s hardest to see.
How is this going to hurt their careers (mostly his fathers’). And you know it will have some impact, even a perceived issue. I mean, outside of getting a court order to have physical custody of his son, what can Martin Sheen do? He can’t FORCE him into rehab, hospital, mental institute. He’s a legal adult, and unless he hurts someone while in this state, I don’t think there’s anything the family can do without Charlie WANTING it.
And you bet your sweetness that CBS/Warner is covered. I read the full, long letter detailing every incident that they are using to fire him and how it breaches the contract. Surprising the harshest words are to his personal attorney (whom the letter is addressed to).
Oh, they pulled the old “Paragraph 12 (“Incapacity”), 13 (“Default”) and/or 14 (“Force Majeure”) of the Standard Terms & Conditions” trick. NBC pulled that same shenanigans on me back in ’96. They’re gonna give me my old show back. They just don’t know it yet.
“Whatshiscock”. Now that’s FUNNY.
He’s totally manic right now. Re: tiger’s blood, winning, warlocks, etc. Get that dude on some lithium, like, now!
I agree with all of you, I work in a psychiatrist hospital so i’m around manic, bipolar, and the delusional all the time…and even stable, those with narcissistic traits continue to ramble on about nonsense. There are those theories about the dopamine/serotonin receptors being ‘hi-jacked’ by lingering effects of long term drug use, which fuel psychiatric symptoms he kept in check
So to make a long story short, they are going to enable him until the bottom falls out. For some reason, celebrities are never told to get their ass into rehab..funny, because the homeless muttering to themselves in NYC are pick and sent to Psych ER lickety split…
Damn shame
