The X-Factor already has drama, and the show is months away. Apparently The X-Factor dumped Cheryl Cole as a judge, and replaced her with Nicole Scherzinger, who was originally hosting. Their reasons for dumping Cheryl was lack of chemistry with Paula (shocker) and her thick accent. So there you have it…now they won’t have to worry if Cheryl will translate over to American audiences. Sorry Cheryl.

I have a feeling this show will kick Idol‘s ass, don’t you?

**UPDATE** She could stay on now, but who knows.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I think so too. I mean, American Idol is getting predictable and quite annoying. I think people are looking for a fresh take on the genre of musical competition shows. This one seems like a much classier, much more sophisticated show than American Idol. It takes itself and its talent seriously and you can tell that they don’t tolerate any BS. I mean, Leona Lewis was outstanding the first season. Besides, it has Paula and Simon!

I kind of like Cheryl Cole so it is pretty sad she will not be on it. Oh well.

But which show does Oprah like?

That’s all that should really matter to America.

I find it funny that everyone is yelling this despite there being no official confirmation XD

I bet this is likely just a rumour shitstorm made to make people pay attention to the show even more so :)

BTW: Leona Lewis was season three of X Factor :) The other two guys turned out to be duds.

I’m curious to see how they pull it off, and if they feature contestants old enough to stay up past 10:00 on school nights, they’re already one up in my book. The big test will be how they handle the voting. If they can keep Southern teen voters from dominating the results, they will have a distint advantage..
