Christopher Dorner – Is He Dead? **UPDATE** He’s Dead

I’m not even going to go into detail about this because it’s way too long, but I have been GLUED to my seat following the Christopher Dorner story all day. It’s insane, isn’t it? There are conflicting reports, and I know we’ll know shortly, but I want to know…is he dead? Reports are that a Sheriff Sniper shot him, other reports say that they heard gunfire as the cabin had caught fire. But who the hell knows! If this guy was so smart, why was he still in Big Bear? You’d think he’d have an accomplish take his car up there and set it on fire to throw off authorities. I wouldn’t think he’d still be in Big Bear. Did he cave and shoot himself? Did he get out? Did a sniper get him?

    Anderson Cooper just confirmed that his body was identified on the scene and taken out of the cabin. It was severely burned and had a gunshot wound to the head.

    Watched this for an hour on the elliptical. Nad why the heck what this maniac in Big Bear. Ummm, let’s kill cops in LA then run to Big Bear???? Were you looking for Rob Dyrdek? I don’t get that either!

    Sooooo messed up. So messed up.

    Just looked at the article – looks like there was another update and LAPD says they haven’t searched the cabin yet and they are denying the earlier reports. Crazy situation all around.

    @Gypsy, reports are speculating that he was going to hole up in one of the empty cabins, and when police got there, he was going to ambush them. He purchased scuba air tanks, and the theory is that when deputies launched tear gas and then entered, he would shoot them. I don’t think he planned on the snow storm this past weekend. I really thought he set the other vehicle on fire as a diversion and headed south to Mexico. Unfortunately, he did kill another deputy this afternoon, and another is fighiting for his life.

    The LAPD had a press conference saying any report of Dorner death are untrue.

    I don’t rejoice in any human’s death, but whatever humanity he once possessed left him when the carnage began.

    I pray that it is over for everyone and that the wounded officers recover.
