Cloris Leacman Memoir

Cloris Leachman’s memoir, Cloris, comes out next week, and I’m so excited. Parts of the book have already been released and I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read she was going to “ooooff” Ed Asner if he were skinnier!!

She said, “One day we made an agreement that I would have sex with him if he lost 32 pounds,” Leachman writes of Asner. “He almost did it; he lost 29 pounds. We both got so disoriented at what we were facing that his weight shot back up, and our assignation never happened.”

I absolutely love her spirit…she’s one ragin’ granny!

Ever since she did the Comedy Central Bob Saget Roast I’ve become a huge fan…I love that she’s marketed herself right back in the limelight…move over Paris Hilton.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    I would have done Ed Asner when he was fat but not after he lost 29 pounds.

    And for Cloris. I have one word for her: Ewwwwww.

    really Mr. Dangerous? We usually have the same taste…I love her. I don’t think she’s hot, I just think she’s a ragin’ drunk old lady, and I love that about her. She’s like the senior citizen Paris Hilton.

    She’s great on the Mary Tyler Moore Show! There’s also an old Alfred Hitchcock Presents with John Forsythe. I think it’s from like 1956! She’s fab in that. Last Picture Show? She gets thumbs up for that too.

    She’s a great actress but she really has become as desperate as Norma Desmond. Love the movie but that kind of personality in real life is scary.
