Cougar Town has an official airdate!!! It’s coming back on Valentine’s Day at 8:30 PM PT/ET–for those of you that have blacklisted that day it’s February 14th. This season only has 15 episodes rather than it’s original 22 episode order. Melody Derloshon, one of the writer’s of the show (who also happens to be my best friend since we were wearing wings), told Redeyechicago.com“We’re trying to keep a show going that people want to watch. And the bottom line is it’s just funny. We just want people to laugh and have fun, and we’re having fun, and we hope everyone who watches has fun.”

I can’t wait!!!

Here’s their new promo poster:

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Ah, well, since you have some pull with the writers, can you ask them to make this show funny? Just a decent joke or two once in a while would be nice.

At least New Girl’s turning into a pretty excellent show. Oh wait, you people hate that show, right? But you like this one? Sometimes I feel like I’m trapped in an alternate universe that is exactly like the one I came from, except that everything is reversed.

@Itchy…omg I know right? Esp with the year end best/worst. There was hatred towards New Girl (which I adore) and love towards Whitney. It was the first time in the seven plus years I’ve been reading this site that I was completed turned off and felt like this site wasn’t a piece of me transported onto the interwebs. I seriously debated whether or not to continue visiting…because seriously…Whitney is going to be a best show of 2011? I knew last year sucked for a reason

Go Cougar Town! Go New Girl! **waving my pom-poms**
