Crystal Bowersox Comes Out On Top

Just as I suspected, Crystal Bowersox’s album sales beat Lee DeWyze’s. Crystal Bowersox sold 58,000 units during her first week, while Lee only sold 39,000 units. Lee did debut higher on the Billboard charts, but who cares in the grand scheme of things…he still sold less in his first week as the winner of American Idol . It just goes to show that the voting system on Idol is flawed. You have a million tweens out there voting for the hot lover boy vs. someone who actually has talent. I get that Crystal wasn’t for everyone, and that Lee had a certain charm to him, but he in no way should have won this past season of Idol. I feel like that’s been the theme the past couple of years…

Of course she beat him. Lee Sucks.

And yes the idol system is flawed, especially since what it really comes down to is what Simon thought of them. They won’t change it, though.

I don’t it comes as a surprise to anybody who watched last season that Lee has a problem topping… the charts.

Lee’s cute. Why didn’t you include a picture of him in this post? I don’t really remember much about Crystal except that she looked like she needed to take a bath. She appears to be unhygienic.

Wow, did Crystal drop an F-bomb in the first 3 lines? I can see how this song isn’t Top 10 material necessarily, but her voice is great.
