Thank Gawd!! I’m happy to see that drama gone. And, the new villian will probably be one of the Kim’s.
Honestly, I don’t think these shows need the drama or the villain. I fully enjoyed watching Bethanny’s show – and, it was all “love and light”, as the whackadoo would say. It was nice to watch a show and not seeth with disgust at at least one of the characters.
This whole Jersey franchise needs to be revamped. Unless they get rich women and make poor Teresa film with them as they flaunt their wealth in her face, i don’t see how another season could be fun. Caroline looks tired and lonely..enough shots in her kitchen, already! Nice lady, but she needs a hobby..why else would we tune in to watch her? I think she’s been distancing herself since Dina left..it was fun for them to do it together but the thrill is now gone.
jaqueline..please. I did like her last season and i rooted for her to have a successful pregnancy and am glad that she did. She is always with her baby, and you can see that she adores her little boys. But again, no reason to watch her.
True, ms.jacqmills, we don’t need drama, but we do need a storyline..someone/something to root for, something to invest in, yet these ladies gives us nothing.
Perhaps Teresa could get a job working for a rich woman? A rich, narcissistic bitch. That would be rich.
@sarcasitire “Unless they get rich women and make poor Teresa film with them as they flaunt their wealth in her face”
Now THAT would be fun to watch.Watching Teresa go to a childs birthday party with all the frills and the next episode we see her crying because she has to actually give her kid a normal birthday.Or even more fun,Watching Teresa go shopping and her card is declined.Or even better,if they get new gals, watching Teresa arrive 2 hrs late to a lunch and find that all the people have already left because they don’t find her tardy for the party act funny or endearing at all.
There is a wealth of situations to put her through!!
They could even name it “Teresa Going Broke?”
TC,Robin
@Pixelated..yes, and she’d better make the lady’s house ‘cleansy.’
@Robin..exactly! Great title. I pitched a few ideas some weeks ago:
#1: Teresa’s first day as a Walmart Greeter
#2: Moving Day: Back to Patterson
#3: 11th Anniversary! Does the Olive Garden take food stamps?
#4: Dumpster Diving with the Giudices (Dig, Milania, Dig!)
Any other suggestions?
“Perhaps Teresa could get a job working for a rich woman? A rich, narcissistic bitch. That would be rich.”
Jill Zarin would fit the bill – maybe they could share design tips, and shave each other’s backs.
msjacqmills totally agreed. I get so sick of the shows constantly thinking they need a villian- and then hearing someone who was cast to make trouble hoping to be a villian (then in interviews claim the show needed a villian and acting like they’re playing a part pretending to be an actor) trying to get famous off of their bad behavior. This is what I think Kim (the older one) was trying to do and admitted it. Completely takes away any reality the show had left. I do like the shows that haven’t had drama in them- I think shows and viewers can forget that you can still enjoy just watching a show that has people in it who don’t fight or aren’t crazy. I do agree that the show will need to go in a different direction to get a storyline but think once Danielle is gone they can finally do that. Until she’s gone I feel anything between her and the women will overshadow any other storylines.
@Reiray “I do agree that the show will need to go in a different direction to get a storyline but think once Danielle is gone they can finally do that. Until she’s gone I feel anything between her and the women will overshadow any other storylines.”
I don’t agree. For example, they couldn’t fit in a comment about Danielle by the gals on the Italy trip because it would look too overdone and some of the “slower” viewers might wonder why they need to talk about Danielle on vacation. So,what did they do? They made sure the guys talked about her! Yeah, right. How many men do you know that go to a bar and talk about a women unless thay have all screwed her or want to? My point is,they can’t even go to a different continent without talking about Danielle.
Unless the next season shows Teresa spanking her kids for misbehaving and riding the 4 wheeler to the store for groceries,I am not watching.
TC,Robin
Bring Jeff Lewis in as the villan ( how the hell do you spell villian???) Can you imagine him going through T’s house!
He’d FLIP, for real, chemgal! (BTW, it’s villain.)
I’d love to see Teresa taking her kids to Chuck E. Cheese for their birthdays!
I think the show needs a retread, and Danielle being gone isn’t the worst thing, but Teresa and Jacqueline need to go as well.
I’d like to see a more affluent group of women on this franchise in general – the bankruptcies, big flash and no cash thing doesn’t appeal to me. I never got into the RHoATL, mainly because of Kim and Nene – and their obvious inability to keep up with the real money, even though they became a huge focus of it. I was annoyed by Lynne Curtin on RHOOC; although I found Jeana’s fall from prosperity relatable because she was a reflection of real things happening to people who thought they were secure; and I wish they would bring her back. Same goes for Countess LuAnn, although not to the same extent.
New Jersey has some real money, and unlike the other demographics it’s pretty diverse culturally and socially. I would like to see that explored more, rather than this slyly portrayed, maybe mafia crowd.
I grew to like Caroline Manzo, and most especially her family as the show progressed – she has a sideline real estate business, which I didn’t realize until I read about it today. I’ll bet she has a pretty broad range of women she socializes with – and I’d be interested to see how she moves through her “empty nest” phase.
I’d like to see Teresa, of the cookbook fame, actually bake a cake for her kids’ birthdays, and host a sleepover or theme party. Like most of the mommies in America do, you know because those are the moments you’re supposed to cherish? LOL. She is such a lazy piece of shit.
I think Miss Andy is counting on their being some schadenfreude going on in the viewing audience. You know, we saw them when they were rich bitches, now see how the mighty have fallen, hahaha, kind of thing. If so, they need to show it more, though (the fall, that is).
Another thing that would be interesting is to show some women with careers or businesses. That worked with Bethenny and with that cool Atlanta HW that has a singing/songwriting career (and even the lame one with the fashion show). Show SOMETHING more interesting than shopping and fighting.
From your lips to Miss Andy’s ear @Pixielated! LOL!
Bravo just posted clips on the upcoming episode, which I think is the finale – VERY interesting!! LOL. Their blogs all say the reunion is something else – I hope that means Miss Andy is going to play a little hardball with these hags. Bless their hearts!
Shadenfreude is right, Pixielated. (Btw, I just noticed the ‘i’ in your name..all this time I just thought you liked hi-res images!) However, only for ladies like Teresa, who put down people who buy used homes, and what not. (even though to be honest, my Mom refused to buy anything but a new contruction, also, but only because she was so tired of all of the repairs our 1864 Colonial needed.) But yes, people will be happy to watch Teresa get knocked down a peg.
Independent, career women would be a good idea. Women navigating cool careers, relationships, children, and each other. No boring jobs, interesting careers like Kandi (from ATL), and even Lynda (from DC). Could be a good premise to set up some really great situations.
This is from D’s latest Bravo blog:
“Due to recent rumors posted today, I’d like to say that I’m not even thinking about Season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6. Don’t worry next year, I’ll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love.”
she might not be leaving…?
I will miss this wummin.
As Madea would say: Hollaleurrra! Bye, psycho bitch – Good luck finding your mommy, the Contessa. Yeah, the show might not have the drama, but I can do without musings of a member of the parallel universe – that is why we have the SyFy network.
KUDOS LAC!! I agree, she seems to have a warped sense of reality. I love how half of her talking heads she’s threatening PHYSICAL VIOLENCE against the other ho-wives, but in the other half she talks about how scared she is that they are going to hurt her. Maybe with her now gone, the other wives can get restraining orders against her and knock her out for good.
And I agree, bring in some new blood!! (and Dina)
